Was 1st Mate aboard one last year. Sailed it from LaRochelle to Las Palmas. Great sailboat. Saw the assembly plant. So much more living space than the Lagoons and Leopards of that same size. Galley passthrough to foredeck is a neat feature. Lounges next to bridge was a great hangout spot.

what's with the uncontrolled leech on the jib when it's shown sailing? i have a 2024 40' bali and it's just as bad. the self tacking jib setup is barely useable and they're still doing it the same way 7 years later.

I am surprise there are all electric boats coming out with composting toilets and induction stoves and water makers all powered by a combination solar cells, window generators, hydro generators, and perhaps gas turbines. Diesels and holding tanks and propane are so old fashion.

Well that didn't age well. 5 years on and not a single boat under 60ft matches what you had described

Excellent review. Very nice boat. These really need a hard dodger like on the Antares so they can be better in all weather as liveaboards and not just fair weather cruisers. Bali, If you're gonna get rid of the trampolines I'd rather see something else done with all that space besides a gigantic amount of cushions that will need to be stowed somewhere else on the boat in high winds. Teak the whole deck and set out some small folding dining chairs or something. I was going to mention needing the second throttle controls at the nav station. Nice job mentioning that. Stop saying "uhh" and your reviews couldn't get any better. Ive watched a ton of your reviews over the years. Nobody does it better.

If Bali did a door to that front porch like on the Leopard that would be a game changer.

Looks like the 5.4 has the door to the porch.

No teak. Too much maintenance and heat on the feet.

Had a horrible sail on the 4.1. Front saloon hatch slammed down in heavy weather and the next day the starboard bow cracked and we almost sank. Horrible plastic bathtub toy.
