I can NOT believe how much I enjoyed this video! I am almost 59 years old now, and the last time I made a whole bunch of 1/6 scale clothing for my Marx Johnny West action figures, I was 16-17 years old. I have been scared to death to go back at it again after all this time, but watching this tutorial has given me SO much hope. I only wish I could find a source for THINNER fabric more suited to 1/6 scale clothing. And the other thing I need is to have you come to my house and help! LOL
This is a very good video. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. You have a very calming voice and music used isn't overpowering or distracting. Thank You!
You are so awesome! Your vids are so fun and therapeutic to watch. As simplistic as these tutorials are for miniatures, they really make me wanna make actual life size versions of these things.
It's true, the tiny piece was for pocket watches, in the 1800's there were no wrist watches. After people stopped using them the pocket was kept as it was the traditional design.
Oh my goodness!!!! These jeans look amazing, super realistic and absolutely perfect for any dollhouse. I am a big fan of your work and wish you a Happy New Year from Germany ♡
Wow, you never cease to amaze, this is the cutest pair of jeans I have ever seen! LOL As usual, the realism is wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing your talent with us! :)
that was cute - i really loved the belt idea with the felt. i've seen a few doll jeans tutorials over the years and enjoyed seeing your take on them too. i might make some at some point in the future - this looked like a nice, quick, easy version (minus the sewing machine part). i'll have to hand sew the whole thing if i make some, but very cute. tbh -- i have a 6in doll (more like a kid, but i pretend she's an adult for dollhouse purposes even though her proportions and shape are more like a young girl or teen) and i've made a few outfits for her - just on the spur of the moment and just made everything up - no pattern or nothing. the clothes look clunky, but that's what happens when you design on the fly - i will probably try to 1) alter her body to make it more like a woman instead of a girl and 2) make patterns so I can make her a lot of diff outfits.
You make everything better than the average person so I'm going to use your jeans pattern (tailored to fit the doll) for the jeans I want to make. I will let you know when I do them.
Happy new year! I still love watching your creative process and I am convinced you can pull off making a metal musical instrument like the saxophone. You are a Rockstar!
I know it's not your forte but those jeans were perfect. Please do more. I didn't even think to use craft foam for the belt. I'm going to definitely try this. Can I tag you when it's done?
Hi. I love your work and I would like to see many more things like this. As a suggestion, you can make the pants with a thinner fabric like shirt, which would give a more comfortable and realistic look to the garment. Thanks for teaching so much talent.
Kat will you please do another minitures kit?? I love how you make the miniture structure your own by not following the instructions to the letter but instead adding your own personal touch❤
I'm LOVING those jeans, Cath!!! You do AWESOME WORK when it comes to DETAILING anything!!! Wish you a Happy New Year and KEEP UP THE A-MA-ZING WORK!!!:):):)
@@TheSquaretoSpare ..and it was for me a special one since it was the first new after finding and subscribing your channel some time ago! I hope to see soon another new video!

Amazing video as always! Your videos are the best! Your fingernails look amazing as always, do you do them yourself? You should totally do nail tutorials too!
May you please let me know if the paint you used on the foam dries firmly or will it need a top coat to keep it that color? How many coats of acrylic paint did you use? Does it bleed?
FYI the little pocket was for pocket watches ... or change ... this was great! Loved the touch with the belt!
Muirnin Rose yep. I was just telling my son that. I got him a pocket watch and now he uses it. 🤣
@@carissamessina1908 that's cool 😊
