@@jctoyou I had the motorola edge 30 ultra and encountered several issues: I couldnt change lock screen apps in the corners (default ones didnt even work) or change wallpaper to something custom, it kept glitching and sometimes zooming in. The worst issue I had was dust that got under my lenses. Right now warranty service sent me new razr 50 ultra and soon I will see if it performs just as badly. So basically yeah, I agree
Given its past history, Motorola is notorious for being very late with its OS updates. Further, they will only have 3 years of OS updates versus Samsung's 7 years (if one keeps their phone for that long).
I am about to purchase my 3rd Razr, currently own the 40+. It has been a really good phone for me. I was a Samsung Note guy but they took what was good and exclusive of the Note and spread it around to other devices. No longer exclusive. I took a chance on the Razr and have not been disappointed. My mother is on her 2nd Z flip and has had more issues than I have as far as the tech.
I've had all the flips but the 6. Just traded my 5 in for my first razr. I've been on Samsung for over 10 years so it's hard getting user to the razr+ but so far I'm really digging the razr+ and have zero regrets. It just depends on what matters to you.
Same here. Samsung bloatware gives me major anxiety. Ever since I got my Razr+ I have zero phone anxiety. Since then I've convince my friends to switch to a clean Android platform like Motorola, Pixel or Oneplus and they agree they feel much calmer on a clean Android phone. Samsung phones are too busy and confusing to use it can be frustrating.
if Moto was better distributed in other regions of the globe it might have a good shot in being at consumers hands. Sadly they aren't widely available where I am so by default I might have to go with galaxy
I purchased the Flip 6, and I love it. I'm coming from the Note series, and I want the fold 6.... but I got the flip because it was free for me... I purchased the Samsung Flip suite case, and it's so cute.. I have all Samsung products for a Samsung eco system, tablet, buds, laptops, and watch 7.
@@maxantonioariasmedina8137 Sorry but you're wrong, all you have to do is see how it performed on the video test. I have the Motorola and can say first hand that the video is very choppy as well as video game performance. Overall it still is a great phone but the way the Gen3S is designed, it definitely puts the moto at a disadvantage.

If you factor in usability of cover screen(which is main difference to slab phone) - there is no ground for comparison. Razr is a proper flip phone with well thought interface and convenience features, while ZFlip is same old slab that happens to fold in half and has a bolt on external display. It's really annoying to use ZFlip where it's a pure joy interacting with Razr! Go the drawing board Samsung! ...or do what you are known to do best - copy your competition! :D

Let's be honest. If you want just better cameras, then why bother with a flip phone since there is better camera phones out there. It's about the closed aspect of the flip phones. And this is where the Moto will outshine the galaxy.
Girl you look so good in those warm toned outfits. The orange outfit makes you look stunning! I'm no seasonal colour analysis expert, just an enthusiast, but I think those cooled toned outfits (blue and pink) don't really match with your essence and make you look bit tired. Keep rocking that orange suit though!
You mean besides actual usability on the daily? The Samsung isn't comfortable. It's hard to open and close. The Motorola is a joy to carry and use. Plus, no bloat and stock android. The Moto is a much better choice.
@@gabrielmease1169 The Razr+ is a better experience overall for me. Samsung bloatware gave me major anxiety because of how busy and confusing it gets when native apps are competing with their in house made apps. With moto all my phone anxiety and frustration went away and it's been a joy since.
If reviewers/users were being completely honest, it would be an even experience on both devices. While the Razr does, on paper, have a bigger cover display, it condenses (auto or manually) to get around the camera bumps, typically when using the keyboard. Even in just scrolling, you still cannot see anything until the screen gets past the camera bump (on that portion of the screen). I think it's a little over exaggerated about how the cover display is "better" on the Razr even though it's obstructed with camera lenses
They should do a test on optical telephoto as short telephoto's 85mm~125mm (35mm equiv) are often a professional photographers preferred lens for portraits as they introduce a bit of bokeh. This is one reason Motorola swapped the ultrawide for a tele. Bit unfair Motorola losing points for not having an ultrawide while Samsung did not lose any points for not having an optical telephoto.
the chips are not the same samsung has the same snapdragon as other high phones and the motorola has the s version of the chip , both phones are great but the moto has less of a crease on its inner display

Thanks for the great comparison. Personally, though I like Motorola's outer screen design better, I choose the Z Flip 6 as I trust Samsung much more when it comes to durability.
Fr, thats is the major reason, i haven't jumped to motorola and am planning to get flip in few month's (i am waiting to buy it from cheaper country and to wait and hope it remains just fine till then)....Lately been hearing many issues about crease making noise and pop sounds near crease, and i am suprised how many people still own flip3 and so far ig flip3 has lasted the most for everyone and flip4 had most issues ....
Let’s be honest, the average consumer buys a new phone every 1-2 years. No one care about updates after the 2 year of a phon, updates only make phone slower.
Yall should know right now that the Motorola is300dollars cheaper, and why do people say if you take out the front screen of the Motorola... ... Both screens are better than that of the Samsung with 45watt charging against 25 of the Samsung, at 300dollar less.. common.....

The only thing the razor has over the flip is the sightly bigger cover display. The flip wins in literally everything else.
