Ingredients for the delicious red cabbage salad:
300 g red cabbage
2 carrots
1/2 romaine lettuce
1 apple
1 red onion
8 cocktail tomatoes
1/2 lemon (juice)
1/2 orange (juice)
4 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp mustard
1 tbsp honey
sea salt, pepper
optional: cress for decoration

I Made this salad all the time, its very delicious and filling! I thought I was the only one :D sometimes I put some corn and feta in it, it gives the salad a great punch :)

I love 'different' salads too. I make with grapes apples oranges beetroot juice pineapple strawberries spring onions and toast with jam. I add this to cold meat or roast chicken with either chips or potato croquettes and it is absolutely delish. I have fresh orange juice to drink with this filled with ice. I would leave the tomatoes and onion (allergies), and add walnuts or pecans, and a sprinkle of crumbled feta . . .YUM!!!

Great salad. Long ago after many trips to the Far East I began using chopsticks for eating salads (also fajitas). It's very efficient and you don't have to chase little morsels around the bowl with a fork. I will make this using a sugar substitute (stevia maybe). I will also try it with a mayo-based sauce as coleslaw. Really looking forward to it. Keep 'em coming.

Looks good. I wouldn't normally like that, having fruits and vegetables together. That is an interesting combination though. Salad and dressing looked delicious.
Way back in the 70s I stayed over at my piano teacher’s house and his family were vegetarian. They served a huge salad full of fruit and veg with strawberry yogurt as the dressing. The first few bites tasted weird to my palate, but I fell in love with it!
