Thanks to The Jazz music, every time I use this video to change my gear shift boot I stop, light a cigarette and sit at the bar with a scotch, telling my troubles to the bar tender.
Just received and this shifter with RLX yesterday. It's so much more ergonomic than the stock shifter or any of the aftermarket knobs ive tried. Now the shifter sits high enough that you can keep your elbow on the pad the whole time. No more banging elbows instead of gears lol. Also the black derlin doesn't heat up and fry your hand. Best setup on the market in my opinion!
In my 2014 fiesta ST i only use one shifter plug, i tried the two but there was a fairly large gap between the boot retainer and the shifter where you could see the spring for the lockout. With only one plug theres still a tiny gap but it looks flush from most angles now, and the lockout still functions just fine. Just for those that may have come across the same concern.
Im not entirely sure but i think the focus ST has a different manual transmission than the lower trims. If you really want to try it id probably do a bit of research on each of the two cars transmissions and compare how theyre built and how the lockout functions, then judge for yourself if you think it could work or not before potentially wasting money.
The light jaz was lovely

This is so sick! By far the best looking shifter options I've seen! You got me sold! 👌👍
This is my next week mod for my RS MK3, with Rod Steward Pro and Ghost shifter in black. I can't wait!!!

If this fits the latest Fiesta ST then would it fit the puma ST?
I’ve been on website and can’t make out what I need to fit a Feista ST , can you tell me so I can order , thanks
Will this fit normal focus?
Does anybody know where to find the little spring that goes in there ?
Would this lockout work with other shift knobs ?
I have a Cobb shift knob - it worked. I found that I only had to use one of the provided spacers.
What grease do you recommend?
Does this work w 2016 focus st?
would this fit a normal 2012 focus

Would love if this worked for rangers snd bt50s
This doesn’t work with the Ford adapter?
Isn't the ford adapter for the mustang only? Idr
Nope, you can use our regular Thread Adapter PLUS+ if you run the RLX.

Why can’t you use these with an after market short shifter?
I would like to know as well, it seems like you would have enough clearance. maybe not🤷♂
Imagine if you could do this tutorial for auto cars aswell. 👀
