I gotta say, your snow videos are the bomb. Very relaxing and funny. I watch them over and over again! I even went to google street view and found your house so I could tell which way the hills go. You have a great perch to film the action! There is nothing like a good snowstorm to make one feel comfy and cozy. Oh - thank you for not over-narrating. It's like I'm looking out my own window . . thanks a ton for your patience. I love watching snowstorm antics :)
I'm originally from Montreal Quebec. Driving in this weather is a piece of cake for us. Lesson number one: Don't drive in this weather if you don't know what you're doing.
I am originally from Toronto and lived in Yukon from 2009 to 2015 - we experience this weather and road conditions for 9-months without the chaos, drama and accidents. Our communities understand the roads, the weather and what our vehicles can and CANNOT do. I now reside in Vancouver and it baffles me when I'm home visiting Ontario... watching road-confusion ensue simply because people DO NOT know what they are doing. You are 100% correct on that Joe. Certainly a piece of cake for us experienced drivers.
True statement. I used to work for a municipal public works and the things ive seen people do i just wanted to get out and say you suck at driving in the snow...go home. LOL
1:57 Drive home immediately and park the car, until you understand that you must have studded winter tires in these road conditions and not summer tires. 🤷♂🤦♂
Im sure there's an instructional RUclips video for how to prepare your vehicle for winter and how to drive in it...or they can just watch these videos to see what NOT to do. LOL
Thank you! I sure missed your snowy videos. We haven't seen one flake here in Indiana this fall and winter. I have been looking forward to this. Too bad you don't have an outdoor mounted camera so you don't freeze.
I live in the SoCal mountains where even a little snow goes a long way for vehicle entertainment with tourists coming up for skiing and snowplay but I have to say the narration in your videos is hilarious and keeps me coming back.
Reminds me of my mum & dad's place in the sticks(Scotland) as soon as snow fell I'd take my wee car out & fetch buckets of salt, my shovel & I'd clear my folks steps & make safe paths to the bins & car. I'd do the wee drop neighbours as well & had to do it every year, but once the neighbours discovered I'd moved much farther out & couldn't drive through they began taking turns, all but my mum & dad who earned themselves safe paths over years. Great memories, thanks for the reminder
When I lived near Edzell, Scotland back in the ‘70s, one night a bunch of stayed overnight at a farmhouse a friend lived in. It was a record snow storm, and not just in Scotland, but even in the Northeastern U.S. Anyway, one of the woman had to get to her work, so early (about 4 am) the next morning, us guys went out to shovel te long driveway out. We’d shovel some, move up his 4x4 to keep the shoveled out area clear. His Samoyed was impossible to see in the snow. - BG
Was waiting for this. I was just a few short miles away on my job in Clinton when I could here all the pandemonium over my scanner. I said to myself: "Bet Dizzie's got that all on RUclips." lol
Udizzy, you truly have a passion for serving others. I love how you & your neighbors rally to clear sidewalks & help people in need. You are a great human being. I love your videos!
Just like real estate , sometimes it all about location , location , location lol , love this channel , stumbled upon it a year or so ago & it popped up on the suggested , so I subscribed.
You dizzy was waiting to see how much snow you were going to get in Worcester it’s always glad to see the videos of the hill you’re such a great guy out there helping stay safe stay warm give Tina a hug for me when all this Covid shit stops I’m gonna come and see ya that’s a warning junkman do
Me, I'd be like, "Honey, you ain't gonna make it outta this mess, better come in to my place here, see if we can't warm you up a bit"..........could turn into a fun day.
I live in Northern Michigan. Both of our vehicles are 4x4. We never have any issues like this. My daughter has AWD, it does really good too but not like 4x4. I would bet over 60% of the vehicles in my city, Alpena, are 4x4. Most families around here have at least one truck, jeep, or SUV. Thanks for the video. Edit: Generally front wheel drives are pretty good in the snow too, if you have good tires and know how to drive on snow covered roads. Good tires and knowing how to drive in the snow are the most important, no matter what your drivetrain is.
Massachusetts guy here. I've been through Worcester many times so I can imagine what it's like with all the hills when I've seen nonsense in my (Eastern Mass) neck of the woods that baffles description.
I remember when I used to live on Orne st. Ha! That was hell! So many accidents smh Never again for me with hills lol... looking forward to watching more of your winter vids & more Dizz!!👍🏼
As an ex municipal plow driver i cant stand when guys dont give a little extra slack in the lift chain and dont float their plows so when they come up a hill that levels out a little the plow stays down on the asphalt. Especially at intersections. One guy i used to work with said well my plow sits lower when its raised.....there are plow truck drivers and those those who drive plow trucks. LOL
You've got some good neighbors. That fellow who shoveled out the hydrant and tried to help the woman who didn't know how to drive in snow, and then the other two guys that joined him. I'm glad she eventually got going, but why did she keep hitting the brakes? Every New Englander knows that a spinning tire has no traction!
Do they not have snow tires? I don’t know what’s funnier…watching people try to drive, or your singing 😂 It’s about 80 degrees here in Florida! Almost a foot of sunshine!
Did you have freezing rain before the snow? It seems like there's a good undercoat of ice. But of course I am sure she doesn't have snows, either. We haven't had SQUAT for snow up here in North Central Montana (east of the divide). A couple of inches here and a couple of inches there and hovering around zero so the roads were snow packed, but not super slippery. Then it went to 45 and it all melted. Man, I am SO prepared this year with my winter beater, studded snows etc and front and rear dash cams. What a crappy winter so far. Thank you farmers almanac. Keep up the great videos.
Love your snow vids! You're so nice to help these people that have no idea how to drive in the snow. But ya know, ya shoulda just shoveled the streets wherever she was going, that's what it looked like u were doing, lol
The more you spin your tires you end up heating them up which makes it harder for you to get up the hill. Try driving slower when going up the hill you have a better chance of getting up the hill. I used to live in Indiana and Colorado and when it snows some days it can be a pain in the butt getting out. But I learned that if you start driving slow, you can get where you are going. But it helps to have snow tires as well.
I watched your videos last year, I'm glad to see more there's something soothing about watching somebody else gets stuck in the snow and how they get out, I know weird huh?😎
I used to live in Massachusetts now I'm way north in Maine. Snow in mass is worse because of the temperatures, when you get to the -0's snow becomes almost crunchy and you have better traction. When you're in the 20s and 30s it's a slippery wet mess.
People back East I noticed come outta no where to help here in Oregon they would walk or drive rite passed ya even if your bleeding they would! I miss my home in Mass! Good one Diz!
I gotta say, your snow videos are the bomb. Very relaxing and funny. I watch them over and over again! I even went to google street view and found your house so I could tell which way the hills go. Thanks For Watching, Be Safe Dizzy.
And you won't ever know what you're doing until you've got AWD and snow tires.
@Joe she probably had 4 bald summer tire's it is not like in Quebec that 4 winter tire's are mandatory.

Great plan, Be safe Dizzy.
You don't need studded tires for this little bit of snow!
Just learn how to drive in it!
Can me toNorthern Ontario!
Im sure there's an instructional RUclips video for how to prepare your vehicle for winter and how to drive in it...or they can just watch these videos to see what NOT to do. LOL
All season tires are a joke, a real marketing trick.

I should maybe mention... Here in Scotland "wee drop" means small amount
