back for another exciting episode of my favorite new series. we are expected to get our first snow of the year here around Seattle, I've had snow tires on since November.....and it hardly ever snows here.
Snow tires are overkill nowadays. It's 2024, any all season tire will do, seriously I have never ever needed snow tires. I just never drive with bald tires. I had a 1988 chevy s10,4 cylinder, rear wheel drive. With good tires I easily drove, never needed snow tires in Massachusetts..
You know you're a popular guy when the plow drivers give you a shout out! I live in Wisconsin so we get our share of snow, but I've never seen anything like this. It just doesn't look like that much snow. I love the zigzag approach to hil climbing, it leaves a pretty cool looking path behind. Last thing is if you get stuck like the guy in the begining keep your wheels straight and clear the snow out from both sides of the car. Thanks for the fantastic entertainment!
This is what I love about your “hood” everyone helps everyone no mater who or when - cold rain and such - just makes me feel so cozy and happy! Reminds me of the 70’s when I was a wee little girl and all came together to help each other where I grew up... similar to your streets - we didn’t have much but what we had was offered to any in need -

Winter or all season tyres, job done, its so easy. In Japan from October to April, its a legal requirement. I live in the Scottish Highlands, we often get snow, fitted all season tyres last year, never had an issue since then, I get to work on time even at 05:30 in the morning. In Japan, winter tyres are a legal requirement from October till April, if you don`t fit them, your car is confiscated and crushed. Hell man this is America, you cant do that, 5th amendment and all that crap! Just keep on driving and killing people either with your car, or your gun. Crazy when its easy to resolve. So glad I live in Scotland. You have a great view to watch this carnage, hope your car is in a garage, safe and sound 😁
I just LOVE these putzs' thing track control and ABS and ALL SEASON TIRES will get you through. My winter beater is an '88 GMC S15 Jimmy, 4WD, 4 studded snows, 100 pounds of sand on the back seat, a coal shovel, HD Tow straps AND just for fun a set of chains. I've pulled out more ding dong's with their fancy $70.000 pick up trucks running their "all season" tires out of ditches already this year. AND I STILL haven't put the chains on yet. Some people's children. I have hills steeper than you are showing and just go around everyone spinning their tires (as I laugh)
You should sell sand, salt, snowshovels, snowchaines and wintertyres at the corner in front of your flat/appartemant, you will become rich over the weekend

It’ll never matter how hard and far you press the gas pedal down,it’s not going to speed your forward motion on snow and ice covered surface.Perhaps people either should abandon their fruitless mission and cut their losses or investing in traction chains,lowering tire pressure and best of all staying put.I recall watching this same exact corner years ago when there was a nice meeting of the vehicles at this location.
It's always been my opinion that people who have no idea whatsoever how to drive in adverse weather conditions. Sit at home all year long. The city should give someone in the neighborhood a huge supply of street salt to go out and put down on the corner and main areas folks get stuck - that one corner where the sign got knocked down and the salt truck got stuck is BAD if someone gets stuck on the drain area - it’s all over but the cry’in!

I have a Nissan XE pickup, rear wheel drive and I can go through 8" of snow with no problems. Of course the 10 cinder blocks in the box might help.
