Somnus cover by Grissini Project, from the awaited Final Fantasy XV ! Original music by Yoko Shimomura
The release of FFXV was for us a great occasion to upload our cover of Yoko Shimomura's wonderfull Final Fantasy XV theme song, Somnus. Covered for piano trio and vocalist, self-made arrangement and transcription !

my god her voice is perfect for this piece. this is almost exactly how i imagined the style of this song should be. the original is beautiful, but i expected a more classical style of singing. beautiful...

The moment the singer opened her mouth I was distracted from what I was reading. Goosebumps, light tearing, an unconscious little noise. I dunno what she was imagining, but there was a soft but genuine pain and longing in thay voice. I was not prepared at all.

This song is so bittersweet to me and it encapsulates how I feel about the game pretty well. For a number of reasons I like the idea of what this game wanted to show way more than it ever actually did. This cover of Somnus opens my mind to what could be. Thank you Grissini Project!
