A good way to level up your guns is to go into plunder and do the safe cracker. When you open the last safe hold the gun you want to level up and you will get a guaranteed two to three level up on your weapon for every safe cracker mission you do
The only problem is that it is no longer one shot in warzone 2.0. Making it near useless unless you have explosive bolts. Hope we can get that fixed in the future, but i doubt it

There’s a close quarters build, at long distances the crossbow can’t compete with all of the other marksman rifles, and snipers with the exception of the EBR.
I unlocked the crossbow by doing a dmz mission and as soon as I saw the explosive arrows I knew I had to level it up. It absolutely terrorizes everyone if you can hit shots with it

It was popular for a week. It takes way to long to reload and the arrow drop is pretty noticeable at range. It’s a hit marker machine.

Just like guns doesn't it have a maximum damage range? Too close and it's weaker, too far and the damage falls off. Correct me if I'm wrong.
@@yfam4yfam431 Based on my advanced TF2 (Team Fortress 2) knowledge, I would assume damage falloff in MW2 is (almost) always further = less damage.
