This reminds me too of my last memory at The Great Movie Ride at Disney World. I went on the weekend it was closing for good and when I first lined up, there was a man who looked identical to Dr. Hammond and a woman who from behind looked a LOT like Ian's girlfriend from the sequel, Sarah Harding.
