I remember being bussed to a school in a different area of San Francisco that was nearly an hour away (1972). The program was a flop, quality education dropped, schools became more dangerous, and millions were diverted from budgets to pay to move 72% elementary students further away from schools closer to homes. It’s good to see the town is still acting like lemmings
