I own a 2025 premium package LC in the US market, it's nice on road. No complaints about the engine, which is one of the main talking points I see from people who have never driven it. My only "complaint" or "gripe" is the small gas tank, but that might be due to me coming from a Ram 1500 with a tank 10 gallons larger. Overall, very happy with the purchase. Happier if I didn't spend almost 80,000 USD on it...but yeah.
I test drove the vehicle few days ago and I mostly agree with what you say. I'm looking for a replacement for and older Defender and when you come from vehicle like that you don't really feel that it's not comfortable on-road, but for sure it doesn't drive as good as newer Defender or nearly as good as X6 (not a fan of vehicle, but it's drives really good for a SUV). What was your fuel consumption? I tried some highway and I figured out that it would probably use ~10.5L/100km on a longer roadtrip. Which is better or on-par with all vehicles I had before.
thats spot on, its indeed 10+ p/100km at normal motorway speeds without towing anything. what does your normal usage look like. I would say the only car to rival this is a defender, maaaaybe an old g-class? its SUUCH a great vehicle though, completely fell in love with it for its sheer scope of ability.
would be cool to see this car in heavy use for a year and then have a review again to see how things have been holding up. I reckon the car itself will be in good shape, but indeed things like the materials etc there could be some questionmarks
Great video 👍 unfortunately LC is dying breed of old school designed vehicles like Mitsubishi Pajero 😕 I wonder why toyota Europe don't import hybrid version of LC just carry on with old small 4pot diesel 😕

10:19 this synthetic leather on the gear control level would not last much I guess :D

interesting to see the differences between the euro version and our u.s. version
yeah its a global vehicle with some market specific differences
I wish we got the diesel in the US.
In Australia we have diesel 2.8 4 cylinder.

yeah its such a legacy vehicle. Still cool to see that they continue to make it though. Next gen will for sure not feature this lovely diesel anymore
UN was not a good example, I guess :D
Where is the Land Cruiser? I see a Land Cruiser Prado.
Greetings from Saudi Arabia.
It's only a "Prado" in some markets. Get over it.
yes indeed, here we just call it the landcruiser
200k no way, then get a g-wagon
not here in NL. quick look at some gwagons on the 2nd hand market and things get quite scary pricewise
