- This is a tool kit I got to use around the farm. As a mechanic for almost 20 years I have used many tools. I will be sure to update as we use this set and see how it works out.

I just ordered this set off of Amazon...it looked like the perfect kit for my use I didnt need all the small screw bits I have plenty of those...

Hey...a perfect description by you of all the sockets...You even actually called the swivels by their proper name ..not knuckles or u joints...lol...Like you I thought 11/32" wrench??A little odd this day in age...35 years ago it was a regular occurance ...A 11/16" or 3/4" would have been a better addition ...The 192 and 204 piece is the best mehanics sets by far ...No stupid fluff like 60 to 75 bits and 30 nut drivers...thanks for the review..it was smart and precise from someone who obviously knows his tools...im a 35 year mechanic veteran still pluggin away day in day out...cheers

Glad I looked this up before purchasing.
You are the first I have seen with this model number that also got a kit with NON laser etched markings on everything. I just got this kit from amazon and was surprised to see that everything was stamped and not deep laser etched like everyplace I have seen selling it states (including Dewalt's own website). Guess they decided to cut cost but leave the deep laser etched feature listed. Even more surprised that the 1/4 ratchet won't turn either way brand new out of the case. Happy that I saved up a few months for the Dewalt kit! Glad I'm on the m18 platform.......
11/32 gm SBC small terminal starter nuts and coil nuts on points ignition system, and some interior ignition and dash/steering column parts,I had not heard of the 204pc DeWalt mechanic tool set neat
I am waiting for batteries to become interchangeable. the first group that can do that will have the market by the tail.
I don’t know which ones to get the 192 piece set says there’s more sockets where there’s less sockets in the 205 piece set I’m looking more for sockets which one do you recommend?

I just realized you get up to 6 sockets of each size considering the shallow/deep and different drive sizes, what is the purpose of having so many combinations of the same size socket? I'm debating between this and the 168 piece kit that is similar but without so many duplicate sockets.
I ended up ordering this kit as the 168 piece kit was lacking too many socket sizes I thought I may need (it has a bunch of screw driver bits on top of having a lot less parts so I didn't like it), I'd rather have too many sockets than not enough. Plus this 204 piece kit was on sale for not that much more than the 168 kit.

Probably could have used a hammer, some pliers and screwdrivers. Or at least a ratcheting screwdriver and an assortment of bits.
Just get an estwing es16 of something. American made, beautiful and feels amazing
