    *Hi guys, thanks for watching this video, I hope you find it helpful. *Digital Basic Bodice Block is now available on the website www.donlarrie.com/shop/
    From UK size 4-20/US 0-16*.
    If you are using the side dart which was placed on the front bodice, the amount of dart intake which is 1inch will be added back to the hemline at the side seam* Note that anytime you use dart, the amount needs to be added back.

    • @jaysomeone
      @jaysomeone 5 лет назад +10

      In which case you should show in the pattern how to add the one in to the hemline because this is a pattern with side darts. Otherwise after sewing in the side darts, the back and front dont match. It happened to me already.

      For a fitted top of any kind, it will show as little excess fabric. For a loose top, it really won't matter. Also, if you have small bust, you don't need a lot of shaping. But for big bust people, it gives a nice shape. I hope this helps

    Donlarrie Couture thank so very much I watched so many videos on youtube to try and learn how to draft up my own bodice pattern and not been able to quite grasp it. But you have made it so easy that after two years of searching thanks to you I can now make my dresses I have been waiting to make. I am so excited. Thank you so very much.
