Edit: 1 year and 1 developer still has more progress than deadside, more weapons, spent 3 months porting to an entirely different engine but still more far along than deadsidr thats wild. As hell!

I have no doubt he will be successful in this venture, I hope he really focuses on things other stalker games don't really get right to really set himself apart, I have no idea how it would be possible to make interesting missions, story arc, progression, level design, AI, all by yourself. I know he laid a lot of foundation tools to vastly reduce the amount of hand crafting he has to do, I almost wish he came up with a smaller vision, like an atmosphereic hunting game with stalker vibes, or maybe a bounty hunter game, something so he can really take time to flesh out the mechanics while he can sell a lesser game to get even more funding, then work up to his dream stalker game. He truly knows best, but I'm just going off of what I know from watching countless other indie projects. Every single one of them wishes they would have made a smaller more fleshed out game.
Agreed I think indie games need more of a broad plan in order to execute there project effectively. A new idea rather then copy paste something that will ignite a flame in many players is different from most games.

Thanks it's a free demo just presenting some change since the last demo free to play and only single player FYI the bots will keep spawning just for the test in each map.
Nice to see another game without Zombies. I am over the Zombie thing. The gun inspections are great. Love the attic.
The gun sounds are not that great. I am playing DeadSide which has awesome gun sounds and no Zombies. I really like the gun sounds to sound as real as is possible.
Options to turn on Pop up tips would be nice as to how to stop that bleeding.
I'm sure these features will com later in the games progression plus much more since the last demo wasn't that far back and seeing the quick changes into this demo I have high hopes I would also love to see possibly a coop feature added with difficulty tier maps.

How do you pick up the gun to put on wall, ifni click mpuse button it just puts it into inventory.?
To pick anything up press middle mouse. Drop from inventory drag out of your stash or hold shift once item is dropped press g you can use the scroll wheel to adjust depth then it will place automatic once close enough.

How do you put your weapons up on the whiteboard like that? I can't figure it out.
You have to drop weapon on the ground hold shift while clicking on it once dropped press g and use mouse scroll wheel to position it to you liking they will stick like a magnet once close enough

I wish the developer all the best, but I don't see the game being a big hit. The graphics are pretty outdated, the AI is bad, the gunplay doesn't seem very convincing to me either and I'm also afraid it will get boring quickly because there's not much content.
you do know that its still a demo though? his roadmap spans several years iirc.
@@Matias-dr3ysI know that, but the content he can push out is limited, his day also has only 24 hours. i think this will remain a niche game for a very small number of players

also im propably bit biased since im also from south east finland.
A niche success is all a single dev needs and that market is there for him.
