"Underwater" - a Tribute to Cabo Pulmo

Catching Flies and I both fell in love with Cabo Pulmo in Baja California Sur, Mexico, and we decided to create this tribute to its incredible underwater world. We’ve been wanting to collaborate for some time, and the timing was perfect as Catching Flies just joined the Only One team as an Ambassador! Together, we produced this video, titled "Underwater."
"It is an honour to have been asked to be an ambassador for @OnlyOne. Protecting our oceans is a cause close to my heart. The sea and sea life within it is has been a big inspiration for me over the years. I was lucky enough to visit Cabo Pulmo in Baja California Sur earlier this year when I was touring and spend some time in the waters there. Matthew and I have been talking about doing a collab for a while… and turns out Cabo Pulmo is one of his favorite places to dive and film. So everything collided and this is what we came up with…. Cabo Pulmo is one of the healthiest coral reef systems in the Americas and serves as a powerful example of the impact ocean conservation can have. Decades ago, this remote town was heavily overfished, but the community came together to establish a Marine Protected Area (MPA) over the coral reef, banning fishing within its bounds. Over time, marine life rebounded, and today, fish schools are up to 10 or even 100 times larger than they were back then. Meanwhile, fishing thrives in the areas just outside the MPA.
