@@WalterKnox Walter, what do you mean spam? Don't you remember the time I helped you with minibrowser USB crash? Walter, it is very important to let you know about the fabrication of the moon landing and world events! Walter, we didn't go to the moon, this is common sense! A true fact!

Linux has its uses but there's so much shit you just can't do with it tho. I simply can't switch because I can't even find decent nvidia drivers and half my games won't even run on it. Windows 8 is easily F tier tho imo. I'm sticking with 10 for now cause I'm not that big of a fan of 11 either.
Hey Walter, Yesterday we went and picked out our Christmas tree, cut it down and brought it home with us! We used to use an artificial tree but Christopher really enjoys going out to the field and cutting down a real tree! It is a big ole 12 footer! We strapped that bad boy right to the top of the good ole Taurus wagon and brought it home! We had to have our neighbor Eddie come over and help move it into the house and put it in our big metal tree stand! After we got the tree up we put some of our nice lights on it! We have some very nice LED string lights which we use! They are brighter and have more vibrant colors than the old incandescent lights do! They also use less power so we can save on the bill! The power bill used to be quite high during the holidays but not anymore! After we got the lights on it we were pretty tired from going all day! We all sat back and watched the Polar Express! Christopher really loves that movie! Tonight we are stringing the popcorn on the tree and putting some of the ornaments and garland on the tree! Stacy and Christopher both love putting the ornaments on the tree together! It is always tradition that Christopher puts the big lighted star on top of the tree! It is a family heirloom and it has always been tradition for the son to put it on the tree! I remember when I was little putting the same star on our Christmas tree and hearing about how my dad when he was little as well! One day I look forward to passing the tradition down to Christopher's son! Tonight Stacy is making her famous broiled kalaflachi! Stacy makes some great broiled kalaflachi! This is such a great time of year and it is all about family! I hope you have an amazing night Walter and you have some very happy holidays!

The old windows versions are pretty cool ngl. I literally got 3.1 running on a DOS emulator on my phone. But damn, I remember vista. The computers in my school were upgraded to it and it was an absolute nightmare cause these were old ass PCs with bad specs.
That was the main issue with Vista. XP would run on almost anything, and people who were running machines with Pentium 3s and older Pentium 4s (which were still all over the place then) would have been just fine on XP, but Vista would have barely run on one of those machines. I have a few late XP machines which have a "designed for Windows XP, Windows Vista capable" sticker, and that is complete nonsense. Good example is my eMachines T3508 from around 06, it originally had a 3.3 GHz single core non HT Celeron D, and 512mb RAM; that would NOT run vista well even though it claimed it would. I upgraded it to a Pentium D 3.4 and 2gb RAM, now it would run Vista okay. You really needed at least a 3 GHz Hyper Threading Pentium 4 and 1GB RAM to run vista and have it anything close to usable. A core 2 duo is really a better option though.
Windows 7 still supports almost everything, what wouldn't work that you had to "forcefully shift?" Everything that I need to do on a computer is still supported on XP just fine.
If you have never used Windows 11, I can assure you that you would absolutely HATE it if you were to use it. My computer running Windows 11, when in sleep mode, will turn on in the middle of the night to UPDATE when I am asleep, and gives me what basically feels like a heart attack. I can rate it 0.1 out of 10 without any hesitation because I can’t get the sleep I need to function properly during the day.
Yeah, I have never used it, but I can tell by just pictures of it that it is pretty bad. Even then, I would give it a shot like I did with Windows 10 when it first came out, but the system requirements are so absurd that I don't have a single machine that meets them, and I know you can hack around them; but if they don't want me to run it, I just amn't going to run it because I know I wouldn't like it anyway.
I switched to Linux. It is great and easy to use. Rock-stable.

Hello, Linux shill. I don’t worry about software support because supermium will bring chrome 121 to windows xp! You are a shill!

My dad always yells at his laptop something to do with the internet. It runs win10.
Windows 10 is the most abysmal, unstable, unrelaible operating system I have ever used. It is way worse than Windows ME or Windows Vista ever were.
how do you use modern websites and software in windows XP ? i have to forcefully shift from windows 7 to 10 last year due to end of support .

Now also when I first installed windows 11 on my laptop the first thing that I got was a blue screen after first boot. The
That does not surprise me in the slightest.
I used windows 11 for a few weeks, I think I broke the laptop purely because of how shitty it was
That sounds about right.
Windows long horn > All other windows combined
That is a beta build, as mentioned, I only did the mainstream releases of Windows.
Agree XP was the bees knees.
It is unfortuanate that Microsoft is too focused on creating spyware and adware these days to make things that actually work well.
Ikr, it's simple and just works and will literally run on a potato.
tbh my fav is microshaft windblows 98
