      ellie He doesn't need too. Combat sports thrives on mobility and flexibility. As for a bench press and squat ... Yes really helpful exercises but they stifen up muscles especially when the weight is higher. So essentially you wouldn't be able to do let's say a spinning kick.

      @@Shubham.Katyal No, that’s how it works. That’s why kettlebells and dumbbells are better for combat sports, since not everything is uniform in those exercises (and in combat sports) unlike the core lifts on a barbell.

      You dont need two chest pushing exercises, deadlift, pullups, Dips/pushups and Thruster/Goblet squat will actually target all the large muscle groups. With those exercises you mentioned you will not train your shoulders and back fully.

      @@rugmotor4003 They really don’t though. I used to be skinny af and had a vein on my bicep that popped out when I lifted anything; now I’m stronger and it’s still there. It’s just genetic and it pops out more if you are dehydrated.

      The irony is the exercise is supposed to force your elbows above your shoulders. But you shouldn't do this exercise because it's bad for your shoulders due to the internal rotation.

      Before the injury I’d say Miguel.. after probably Hawk or Tory. Hawk is the only one to not lose a fight this season so I’d say him.

      @@liavhanegbi2729 i can agree with Miguel pre injury however, sam has shown little difficulty while fighting hawk and in every encounter she seems to be above him. if we are counting robbie since he is cobra kai he did beat hawk and sam has beaten tory every encounter they had except for the fight where she was too scared and dimitri got his arm broken

      @@quantumrektum4663 It is a quote from a youtuber called AthleanX. Upright rows are considered bad for your shoulder because of the internal rotation. It can cause impinchment in your shoulders and bad posture in general. So stay away from them.

      @@quantumrektum4663 The mechanics of the exercise has a high chance of shoulder impingement especially when you let your elbows get higher than your shoulders. A dumbbell variation is better, that way your arms aren’t restricted by one weight and allows you to keep your elbows lower and your hands higher and when you pull you get good work on the rear delts.

    3:46 this exercise would be better with Resistance bands or Cables, because in the Press the gravitation goes down to the ground not against you, so it won't really develop the pushing strength, otherwise great video:)

      I’m pretty sure the point is to strengthen the front delts as well. Pushing with resistance bands or cables are easy. Pushing straight forward when gravity wants to go down, is not.

      I think the reason as to why hes doing it that way, is because the exercise suppost to mimic the act of throwing a human onto a locker, where the gravity will be acting the same way it does while pushing a plate the way he did.
