I m staying til the end :) just because i like this soldering iron :) My favourite thing with this iron is that it includes the extra usb cable that u need for the usb c power delivery function Thank you.
My favorite features of the SQ-D60B Pro are the form factor of a complete all in one kit ready for field repairs that will run on 12-24v... its perfect the slim case will fit in side pockets of any hobbyists field bag and the thicker cushion grip make this unique over other competitors.
My favorite feature of this iron is being able to use it in the field with a battery, my current iron is a cheap, wall plug-in type. It's time for an upgrade! I appreciate the chance to win this, thank you!
Looks good! powering via usb C is a must for me! My soldering iron is getting a but old now and was thinking of getting the pine64 but this is a good contender.
My favorite part is the small size. My soldering setup currently is a very old Radio Shack station, and it's huge. It works... but it's huge. I'd love this little thing!
I’ve had the D60 for over a year and really loved it. The only thing I was missing was the ability to power it with a standard usb-PD brick. That’s my favorite feature about the pro for sure. So this would be super awesome!!
I like that Sequre D60B Pro Soldering Iron can use a variety of power sources. This means I could use it on my bench or in the field while racing or flying. In addition, it still transfers enough heat to solder larger connectors. Thanks, Albert!
I currently use a thick heavy wired soldering iron. One of the features I most like is the small size which allows for ease of handling and positioning of the iron to where it is required. The ability to (PD) as well as 4-6S LiPo battery is quite handy. Great Review! Always helpful. May help steer some away from an unnecessary upgrade or others towards and upgrade.
@@AlbertKimTV hello Albert I got 2 emails yesterday from telegram at your name not sure if that was you or a bot if you could let me know I would appreciate it thank you
This would be awesome for my hobby craft. Sq d60B Being so small and powerful it’s a must have feature and it’s output power is what I like about the features. My old iron is carbon covered out and won’t work anymore for me. I could really Benefit from this.
Hands down the best feature is the fact it comes with the proper cord for it to function. I wish the Pinecil had come with a cord. Great reviews Albert! Love this stuff.
I really like the temperature value displayed on the little digits. I got a cheap soldering iron and I never know when it's cooled down. Also I prefer to solder on 450 degrees. Quick and clean.
This is actually pretty nice for the price of the pro version with the case. I didn't get a case with either of my soldering irons, The TS100 or a different USB-c power supplied soldering iron. I noticed that with my TS100 if I push the button to raise the temperature and stop at 400, when I try to go to 450 , it won't go past 400 unless I turn down the heat a little then push the button to re-raise the temperature and keep going until it goes past the 400 degrees, then you can start passing the 400 degrees on up 450 degrees; I think the TS100 might go up too 480 if I remember right. thanks for another cool review.
I like that this iron has a comfortable grip which I wish the SQ-001 had. The USB-C port and included cables give this iron lots of variety for power sources which is nice for a portable iron.
Great review of a useful tool. Sequre makes some great products. A portable iron being able to use 6S lipos is a big plus for repairs in the field. Happy soldering everyone. 👍💖😎
loving the usb-c connector instead of the barrel for the end and the grip. I have the smaller one and it's a tad small to feel comfortable for long bench work.
Thank you for your thorough review! My favourite feature that you highlighted has gotta be the portability of the iron/power options for it. Super versatile!
it seems like a really good soldering iron, love the fact that it can be used either with a PD powerbank or a lipo. would love to add it to my backpack as i currently only have a soldering station and when i need soldering on the field i am pretty much always screwed
i think my favorite feature would have to be the compact nature. easy to toss in your bag when you go to the field. and 13 seconds on a 6S! sign me up!!
I think my favorite feature is all the cable adapters it comes with. It makes it very versatile imo. Does this iron come with a rest feature? Like when you put it down does it cool down slightly until you pick it up again to use it? I think I saw a video of one that did that a while back. Also when you put a flatter tip in the iron does it rotate in there? I didn't notice a locking mechanism or anything inside?
That you are able to power it from a 20 watt batery is realy cool. Like that it is available with a case solder and all the cables is realy usefull for biginners who just start out.
Pretty cool that you can run it off a power brick. I need to upgrade from my cheap amazon iron, I just can’t decide if I should go with something small and portable or just get a nice soldering station. What do you use most of the time for your soldering?
Favorite feature across tools is when they use standard parts (e.g. tips). The parts don't have to be the "best available" but the remaining hardware should make up for it. Looks good!
Feels like this would be an awesome iron to solder on the go or even stationing it at a soldering station, that type c power delivery on 20W is especially useful cause most powerbank nowadays can put out, nice carrying case too.
Nice soldering iron. Having both the TS100 and the Pinecil, which allow both DC and USB-C power options, as well as OLED screens, I actually like this one for it's simplcity with just having the 7segment display. I think they did well with going with USB-C, and then the USB-C to DC and then DC to XT60... means you just use any decent rated USB-C to USB-C cable and USB-PD wallwart with it rest of the time... since the pro version must have a USB-PD management IC onboard.
My favourite feature is the included PD cable. I have the original but had to buy a PD adapter to get the right voltage. If I win I'll give one to my dad who's just getting into the hobby.
I'm skip entering. I'm still ok with mine. Though I thought about upgrading to the companies digital temp screen one with 50% more watts (90w). Nice to be able to see tip temp
Nice review Albert. I had the D60B but somehow it has trouble keeping to 400c during soldering. So I got the SQ-001 which is more stable and worked better for me.
Looks like a nice iron. I eventually need to replace my ts-100. The oled screen quit working so I can’t adjust it. It still powers on and works but I’m sure it’s time limited lol
USB power and size makes it real deal for me when use to hanging around with all my staff in my rucksack ready to fly any chance I get :) ideal for all my micros first aid
Power this off of usb c! Definitely it's best feature Being able to carry one charger for everything from my phone to laptop to lipos to soldering iron is awesome Ps-is that a geprc tinygo?
Seems a good iron, i'd like the fact that comes with the usbC and works well on PD powerbanks! I really like to try it! Now i have an old and problematic one... This can be a nice upgrade! :D
It packs away into such a small space given that it has multiple cords and other bits and peices. The higher temperature also will help with faster soldering of bigger pads.
I guess USB-C power is my favorite feature - everything going to USB-C is good most of the time, but out in the field a lot of those battery banks (like the one you had in the vid) don't put out enough to really get the iron hot.
