A got electrict current about 10-11 volt in bolt of this solder (all of three bolt show this current, not only the tip). Is it normal or there is something with mine?
Sorry my statement is unclear. I accidentally got shocked when my finger touched the bolt on the soldering iron body. So, I checked the voltage between the bolt and ground using a multimeter and measured a reading of 10-11 volts. Is it normal? I am already using it about 4 mounth.
I have the same suspicion. Currently, I am using a non-official AC adapter with an output of 19 volts and 3.42 amperes. Perhaps I will try replacing it with a power source from a LiPo battery and see if the issue can be resolved.
Haha I got the same from Banggood. Unfortunately mine is not ok so I returned it. I didn't like the strange barrel Jack Connector which is not standard, I had to cobble an adapter from some wires to XT60. Also not working from 5V USB C, you need PD. Also the Standby Temperature is not settable, you can still burn yourself at 100 Deg C.
The only downside to mine is that it does not work from standard phone chargers. But that makes sense. To get 60W from 5V you would need 12A. I will make my own power brick from an old 20V laptop charger and a modern USB type C cable.
@@UltimateDIY Yes but the barrel mother connector to USB C is really strange, it has a ticker middle pin which is not standard. I also have a brick that gives 20 V and 11 A but I couldn't connect it to the Jack, so I made an adapter to the XT60. They should have really used a standard Barrel. Also you should have measured the current to see the real Power it draws.

Thanks for
Ultimate DIY great review and soldering testing.😘🎉
Thank you for sending me the soldering iron. It's perfect for my use.
@@UltimateDIY Glad to here that.Thanks.
Hi, will it work with a PD aware power brick? I have one that goes to 20v@2.5amp.
Hi. Good question. I don't know the answer, as I don't have any PD supplies.
Happy new year 2021😘😘
Happy new year! 🎉
I've seen people with OCD shearing bolts in engines and clutches, hitches wheels after being told it's fine stop tightening!!!!
OCD is dangerous.
Yes, I know 😄
I do my best to let logic win.

Not sure what you are asking, or between what you are measuring that voltage?

I suspect there is a problem with the power supply that you are using.

Check for a voltage between the negative of your source and ground. I suspect you will find the same 10 to 11V.
is it possible to fit T12 tips ? seems to be the same diameter
I do not know, but they seem similar.
Nice tips compared to the hatchet tip normaly comming with these soldering irons.
Yes, indeed 👍🏻

SQ-D60B is equipped with a PD protocol adapter cable. The PD protocol is set on the power cord so that the model aircraft battery can also be used.
Happy new year 2021😘😘

I think this barrel connector is more standard in laptop chargers. Mine fitted perfectly, but as you say, it's quite thick.
