When Billy called Taggart Sarge, that instantly took me back to 1984!
I was kind of surprised too when he got promoted to Chief.
Billy really looks rough. He's beginning to look like Mickey Rourke.
Why this isn't getting a theatrical release is seriously mind boogling to me there are so many people who would watch this in the cinema.
The "modern" times, they want to kill off theatres.
Eddie Murphy today and theatrical releases don't work well, it seems.
Netflix is trying to kill the movie theater
The CEOs at Netflix do not give a damn about theatrical releases and it sucks. All about subscriptions to them.
@@uarts1993No sir. Dumb superhero films are killing cinema.
There is something special about this scene. It's so simple, yet so heartfelt. Just old friends being together again after a long time of not seeing each other.
Just like the good times. This car scene always brings back those fond memories.
Yep, this movie is full of rehashed scenes. No wonder it's going straight to Netflix.
You damn right
It’s great to see the 3 of them back!
Yeah would have been great if this happened 20 years ago but now they all look over the hill except Eddie who looks just the same with all that plastic surgery.
@@Romulan2469 better late than never! This will help to top up their pension funds.
@@MrAug80 Pension funds? They are all multimillionaires!
@@Romulan2469 they are!
@@MrAug80 They should have made this movie 20 years earlier. Looks kinda lame now, Rosewood looks like he aged badly and Taggert looks way past retirement age and Foley looks young and old at the same time. Weird combo.
40 YEARS SINCE THEY ORIGINALLY SAT IN THE CAR TOGETHER LIKE THAT THATS JUST CRAZY INSANE AFTER 40 YEARS LATER SO WE WAIT ANOTHER 30 YEARS FOR BHC 5...ENOUGH RESPECT TO SEE THEM BACK PRETTY EMOTIONAL
I was 5 yrs old and it was the talk every where…. And them two dudes wearing MJ zipper jackets classic 😂😂
He hit every cue that the OG Axel would hit.
I think we got something special coming 💯💯💯💯
That's what they said about BHC3.
It’s going to be iconic and I can’t wait for Beverly Hills Cop 4
Or a complete flop like the last one.
Just seeing the three of them together literally put a smile on my face. 😊
You can tell by looking at them that they love each other like real life blood brothers. 👍
I loved it glad the guys are back the old songs. It was good
Reunited at last. I cant wait to see this.
"Don't do it Billy"😂 Welcome back Taggart!!!
Sarge you know I’m gonna do it. Ah the heck with it we are not getting any younger. It’s gonna be fun trust me. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Beverly Hills Cop 2 is my favorite movie of all time, this feels like it!
I concur though that ost is amazing
This ain't anywhere near as good as BHC2. They all looked believable as cops back then. I can't take 60 plus year old guys seriously as cops on the beat.
@@Romulan2469 I literally watch Part 2 EVERY Saturday when I’m chillin crushing some miller lites lol. Oh & Predator!
@@19tank81 Better keep watching BHC2 because this BHC4 retirement party will be short lived. Taggert looks really old.
@@Romulan2469 Is his wife still leaving him & coming back 😂😂
This movie was big fun ;)
I hope we will see beverly hills cop 5 :p
Usually when ever Axel says 'trust me' it usually doesn't end too well LOL.
This scene feels like the end of the movie. I'm willing to bet on that.
But seriously! SO nostalgic, gives me goosebumps just seeing it.
Can't wait to see the movie.
Ahh mannn its so great to see them back together.
I love my when they bring a lil bit of my childhood back!
I grew up with these guys!
So good to see...the chemistry between them is great.
Who knows if this will be better than or as good as the first 2 movies due to how much time as passed, but you can tell they've really tried with this one - I got goosebumps watching this...I feel like we have something special here, especially after the disaster that was Cop 3. Seems more like Top Gun Maverick than Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Also, they nailed the music in all of the clips I've seen.
Axel stashing a banana in the tailpipe would have been icing on the cake.
1 and 2 is epic and 4 is gonna be epic as well! 😆
This movie is going to be amazing.
Why? A trip down nostalgia lane?
It's gonna be the best Beverly Hills Cop since Beverly Hills Cop 3.
Beverly Hills cop 3 was poop 💩
@@galaxyraider365 I know. 😂
Now you ruined it! 😂
I liked BHC3 😂
@@Romulan2469 okey dokey
Glad to see The Team Back Together!! 😎👍
Eddie Murphy looks fantastic for 63.
music is great!
Love it!! Just like the good ol’ days!!!
I’m so glad they are back together
This makes me smile. I can't wait till the 3rd
Harold falthymier music is back and the look of part 2 now that Jerry is back producing...this has to be better than that garbage part 3 ...I can tell ..awesome...helicopter scene etc
The chemistry sames better the 3
It's awesome to see these 3 guys again on the screen.
One of them should have said "We are old, sick people" 😂
that would have been a good line😄
Axel: "Just like the good old days"
It’s a shame we all get older in the end but that’s life and people change and we can’t turn the clock back and go back in time. Even so it was just like old times seeing this trio back on our screens again, even if they move a little slower then their younger years, they’re still the same at heart. And no doubt Axel will be getting these two cops into trouble all over again. 😂
Cant wait better than the last one I hope 👍
I think the previews alone are better than the 3rd.
What a terrific combination
I can't wait one of my faves
Dam this movie bring back memories when I seen the 1st one..
I can't wait to see axel back, but I like that they kept the other 2 guys too!
I can't wait 😍
"Oh fuck it, lets go get a porter house" 🤣🤣🤣 Foley is just that persuasive. These 3 back together in a 4th movie is something i never thought I'd see 🥲
Wonder World Wonder World
The crew is back …I can’t wait
is this the end scene of the movie?
No banana in the tailpipe? 😂
This has to be the end of the movie bc Eddie says trust me. It hits hard when Taggart says fuck it we aren't getting any younger.
Yo this is gonna be way better than the third Beverly Hills Cop.
Can't wait to see beverly hills cop 4
Yup, Beverly (Over The) Hills Cop 4! 😂
Wow this is great I can't wait! Btw the first five minutes is online right now
this is a great scene. shades of BHC 1 and BHC 2 in this scene.
The movie is dope.... I watched it 2x
When is this out
Would be cool to redo the Rodeo Drive scene with the same cast as they are today!
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen the first movie. I did notice that the shootout that took out the top henchman, Zack, played by Jonathan Banks, wasn’t necessarily fatal. I’ve been thinking he went into witness protection and has been biding his time planning a spectacular revenge against Axel and his friends ever since. Not gonna happen here, but maybe in a few years time, when AI generated movies really take it to the next level.
It was almost like the first two movies which are better
I can’t wait
Only a week, longest week of my life
Aw man idk if I can watch it; not feeling the energy but then how could I? 40 years on and we’re never gonna get back what we had then.
We’re searching for a past that is never coming back.
I wanna porterhouse now. 😊
It’s nuts how Eddie Murphy hasn’t aged in 40 years
FACT!!!!!
I'm glad it was on Netflix..... Shame on the movie theaters for charging $18.00 a ticket....$22.00 popcorn..... $18.00 for a "Flat" soda pop... SORRY movie theaters.... YOU just priced YOURSELF out of business.... Ya did 2 YOURSELVES!!!! Thank YOU Netflix!!!!
Replay of BHC 1
This should be good!
Can someone explain to me how Eddie looks young and old at the same time?
Isn't Taggart the Chief now?
I Guess they Made a Deal With Netflix It Would Cost More to Release it in Theaters
Spoiler alert! This is the ending scene you can tell through the dialogue.
Heard the same as well. At least we get to see them together again, even if Taggart isn't involved in much of the action.
I couldn't tell it was the ending but I do remember him saying trust me at the end of the second movie. One thing I did realize, is him saying he is supposed to be in the hospital and I did see an image of his left arm being in a sling which is why he is not using it at all in the scene. He was in a wheelchair with a sling in the last movie from his injuries. And we all know how much they love to repeat the same exact themes in all 3 films.
@knightrcer Axel also said “Trust Me” at the very end of the first film followed by that devious, infectious eye brow raise before the credits roll. Still
my all time favorite film.
And all 3 films end with one last freeze frame of Foley before the end credits rolls too.
"I'm not tryin' to start no sh*t I just want a steak!"
At 0.49 Taggart talks over Axels line in what feels like a drama class improv gone slightly wrong. I know in real life this happens but here due to Eddies face when he gets cut off it just feels like an unused take. I hope this doesn't appear in the final edit.
Wow, nice catch!
I'd be fine with this in the movie. As you said this happens in real life escpically with old friends who haven't been around each other in awhile.
the cam they decided to use is too sharp doest make it look gritty
No banana in the tail pipe.
Hey man, I ain't falling for no banana in my tail pipe!
So far everything we’ve seen has been good. No woke bs like Coming to America 2. Fingers crossed.
ohh god i really missed you boys and keep saying times changed nope maybe some but never us high tech changes all the time but not people. do simple pllllllleeeeeaase
AcKWell was in hospital!!??
Black don't crack Eddie looks young compared to the other two
@VictorHernandez-li5nj Eddie looks fantastic but any excuse you to put down the white guys..
Billy's face scares me, like someone threw acid on it.
Only murphy he didnt get old...same face
Hopefully this is the last film, otherwise they'll be chasing the bad guys using walkers.
and billy hope you didn't bought a tank like in the abc case
it cant be worse than bhc 3
So sad to see.
Old fogies 😂
After what he did to Coming to America with that pos sequel makes me worried he’s gonna f**k up another classic…this year is gonna ruin some of our favorite films…mark my words…starting with beetlejuice
Please no!
Trying to hard
Just not the same as 80s eddie was way more funny he just not that funny anymore maybe I spy in the 90s was his last funny movie.
Old, tired rehash…like most stuff produced today.
This doesn’t even count it’s on lame Netflix! Those aren’t actual movies.
So this movie is basically a remake of the original? Sounds kinda lame to me.
Axel and his new partner apparently foil a Detroit Red Wings game robbery in the movie, which is a nod to the strip club robbery scene in the first movie.
@@WWERULEZ1000 They are basically ripping off from the original movie which wasn't as good as Beverly Hills Cop 2. This movie is going to be a huge flop. No wonder it went straight to Netflix!
This is sad, filmmakers waited far too long for a 4th movie. Eddie looks okay, but the other two look like they were abducted from an assisted living home.......to make this movie. Hollywood has lost it's creativity, anything goes now.
John Ashton is 78.
The acting from billy and taggart feels inauthentic, you can tell their trying but it feels like this scene was straight from a drama class. Axels dialogue is kinda lame too. Ive yet to see anything from this movie that looks quality.
yeh thats why its prob on netflix but cant be worse than bhc 3
@hassyg4083 Netflix funded the movie. That’s why it’s on Netflix. Don’t play the “straight to video” card on a production you hardly know anything about yet.
🗑️ Terrible! Do they even know the camera is on? Smh!
Hopefully it's good. Eddie Murphy hasn't been funny since the 90s.
That movie was like a bad chiniese fake👎 of the first two movies !
Yes, I am not a consumer and call me if ,,you'' want a hater. I simply don't 🤷♂️
The first movie was directed by one of
T H E greatest movie directors of all times and something like a father of this genre:
Martin Brest ❗
The second movie was directed by another great movie director:
Tony Scot - Top Gun, Crimson Tide,
The Last Boy Scout,
Deja Vu !!!
And who directed the last political correctness slightly Racist against the white people, that is right - Racist !
I am sorry !
I love Eddie Murphy and I think, that he is a phenomenal actor, BUT I don't like such jokes about my skin color ❗❗❗
It's offensive and RACIST !
What will happens if I say the same words against a black person ⁉️
We all know what !
So, the last 2024 movie was directed by who.....?
,,By Mark Molloy who is an Australian commercial, television, and film director. He made his feature film directorial debut with Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F."
Wikipedia.....
but the laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 is from me and the slap on my forehead too 🤦♂️
Of course everything here is my personal opinion and how I personally felt from that movie.
Dont pay netflex anything at all how stupid is this after 30 years seriously come on people dont pay anything I love this franchise but they are braindead doing this
This is going to be so bad
Nahh , seems embarrassing now with their age.
Honestly, doesn’t look that good and the cast is way over the hill. You can tell by the previews and almost none of these made for Netflix movies ends up being good it will be stupid.
