the mollusk could be referring to our evolutionary track and how we came from crustaceans like lobsters (assuming evolution is true, maybe its not). "bring forth the mollusk lets forever be free" the bringing forth is the linear timeline of evolution that brought humans and "being free" is a reference to what makes humans the most unique of the whole animal kingdom, our free will and extremely sober and aware consciousness. "Hey little boy, what you got there? Kind sir, it's a mollusk I've found Did you find it in the sandy ground? Does it emulate the ocean's sound? Hey little boy, come walk with me And bring your newfound mollusk along Does it speaketh of the Trinity?" the speaker is about the story where a saint augustine is walking along a beach and sees a small boy with a clam in his hand. I could go into more depth explaining it im in a rush now though. Almost every lyric in every song has meaning, whether intentional or not. It's also common for drugs to induce the thought of a story that has deep meaning without being aware of it in the moment of conception.
This is a work of genius for sure. I've spent far too long trying to figure out what this album's all about though. I don't think I can make myself stop....Help me!

Ween hit upon just the right note of hope and irreverence more than once this song has more hope than almost anything they did and the lego thing works beautifully.
