FYI quick way to hide or make all letter fills transparent is if you click on the "Fill:" name in top menu when your shape/group is selected. This brings up Fill Options - select first box option with red line
bro found out that if you make another separate shape layer using the pen tool, on top of the illustrator file you converted into shapes, you can generate a stroke effect, and then add stencil alpha track and it does the same technique. Also I have yet to do this to the stroke line itself. Which I am still trying to figure out. But then I realized my typography is thing so I basically animated the mask that is alpha matted on the illustrator shape layer
Okay, I feel like I'm just dumb or something. I did everything you said to do, but nothing happened. None of the text moves or anything. Please help :(

Excellent! Thanks... :-)
Strokes look easier with your tutorial.. I was so confused!!
Followed every step but it doesn't playback with any color. It plays back very slow and I only see a faint outline of the word.
thanks. anyway to have the fill layer follow suit? when I run the trim paths on it it gets wonky.

How to create an image from this effect
How do I create an image from this effect?
As soon as you convert your text to a shape you lose all text animators. This method comes at a cost.
