Acceptance Speech is my usual answer to favorite album and Instant Gratification really is my feels album.

@@AutomaticDuck300 That cover is what got me into them in the first place, so great! I had a hard time enjoying the uncleans at first but after 50+ listens of Semi-Charmed Life I started digging through their discography, and then I didn't listen to basically ANYTHING else for almost a year :D

Downtown Battle Mountain 1 is probably my favorite album by them, but the fan favorite for oldschool DGD is def the album Happiness, check those out id say

In my opinion, Acceptance speech, through to Artificial Selection are their best 4 albums. I'd put Mothership and Artificial at a tie for #1, then Instant Gratification at #2, and Acceptance at #3. Evaporate is my favorite song from them, (possibly my favorite song of all time) Andrew, the guitarist in the pink jacket in this video, provides vocals, and it's absolutely amazing. If you like his voice check out his band Eidola.

Love DGD! Highly recommend Feels bad man, Inspire the liars (my current favorite) and uneasy hearts weigh the most. This song is olddddd and some of there earlier stuff with different vocalist so different sound from today. Little more punk rock

Yeah for anyone who doesnt know, the bassist Tim Feerick sadly passed away. But that's not what most of the online issues were about. The lead singer Tilian Pearson was facing Sexual Misconduct allegations which seem to have cleared up after he went to therapy for alcohol abuse. He claimed he turned to substance abuse as a way to cope with his band mates death.
Jackpot Juicer is objectively their best album from song structure and musicianship pov, But it has less feels for me personally than Acceptance Speech, Instant Gratification, and of the Pre-Tillian Days, Happiness.
Should check out some songs from their older singers. Jonny Craig (DBM/DBM2) is an amazing, soulful vocalist that sadly is not a very great person. And Kurt Travis (Deathstar/Happiness) is an all-around good guy with great flow and vibes to his cadence
