    You had me there when you said "So am I really gonna do 100 videos for every single possible match up?" I thought you were being sarcastic but then you answered yes :D You are a beast!! Really like your videos so far, thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips. Let'sssss goooo!!!

    Chapters (You can put these in the description to add to the video)
    00:00 Intro
    00:45 Using the mouse too much
    04:53 Using "Select All Military key"
    07:12 Not having a clear plan going into a matchup

    Thanks Lucifron. When I found out at first about the select all military units hotkey I started winning some more fights because of it and it got me up to diamond, but, after that, relying too much on this hotkey is a crutch and you lose a lot of control over the match by using it too much and it starts being a massive disadvantage. I should never have started using it in the first place and now I have to get used to not using it to level up my game and it's hard.

    • @LucifroN7
      @LucifroN7  Год назад +7

      Yes it's one of those bad habits that at first make you feel better because you're never forgetting reinforcements, but in the long run it ends up feeling you are constantly fighting against the game in order to send your units where you want to. Definitely recommend unbinding the key to avoid using it at all, and instead use the idle military + patrol trick that I explained in the previous video

    Great content! In these list videos, it might be cool if you could timestamp the list items, it would help us travel back and forth easier

    • @LucifroN7
      @LucifroN7  Год назад +4

      Didn't know how to do this, apparently it's as easy as timestamping in the video description. Will do so in future similar videos

    Thanks Lucifron! I just bought this game a month ago, and these are really helpful! Also i've never played RTS too much so yea really looking forward to your videos.
    Also funny thing, i stumbled across your twtch channel because i was like "i know this name from somewhere" and in fact, i looked you up and we both played HotS. I never got into tourneys but i played ladder at a top 50 level so yeah funny how small the world can be sometimes :)
    Anyways keep it up, i like the way you explain things!

    El video tiene ocho meses y veo que has grindeado esos 102 videos como el champ que eres!!! Menuda diligencia. Y como "game knows game" voy a ir uno por uno a darles un like y me suscribo. Me parece un crimen que YT de mierda no me haya sugerido ninguno de tus videos cuando siempre escribo en ingles en el search bar y tus videos estan titulados en ingles. Voy a empezar viendo los de HRE que es mi main xDD

      I will usually comment these things as I'm playing each civ, but no plans on making a specific video for it right now.

  • @jeremybolton8188
    @jeremybolton8188 Год назад

    Seriously knowing the best start to each matchup for your civ is massive, you could really break it down simply into hybrid maps and land maps and would be enough, but there are always those tricky matchups with early spears towers maa from one side or both etc . Maybe the easiest way to get every single matchup without making 100 videos could be for example "english matchup meta~ on land maps this is standard build but vs these specific civs you should make this changes and on these specific maps make this changes, on hybrid maps here is standard build but vs these civs make this change" etc. I can only see it being a stretch to include mountain clearing or king of hill since they are land maps with pretty fast win conditions.

    • @LucifroN7
      @LucifroN7  Год назад +2

      Your point makes sense, but I still think there's a lot of value for everyone to find a FPVOD commented guide of any matchup they want to improve in
