My Boxer had the worst yeast skin and paw issues. No grain, wheat, soy, corn or chicken. Organic, plain probiotic yogurt every morning. Once a week she is bathed with Selsun Blue Medicated. She is 100% better.
Hi Jackie my boxer too have bad yeast infection. Could you tell me what kind of organic dog food you give to your baby? Currently my 11yr old is on the; the honest kitchen company and the no grain turkey. It's not the kibble kind it's the mix with water one. Please let me know what you use. Thank you!
@@reginalee4114 Hi Jackie, though I'd chime in. Re the ingredients in that Turkey meal: Ingredients: Dehydrated turkey, organic flaxseed, dehydrated potatoes, dehydrated spinach, dehydrated carrots, dried organic coconut, dried apples, dehydrated eggs, dried bananas, dehydrated celery, dried cranberries, dried organic kelp, minerals [tricalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, choline chloride, zinc amino acid chelate, iron amino acid chelate, potassium iodide, copper amino acid chelate, sodium selenite], taurine, vitamins [vitamin E supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5), riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin D3 supplement], fish oil (a natural source of DHA and EPA). The first 5 ingredients are the largest and number 3 is potatoes and potatoes are a big no-no if you want to avoid yeast. They simply turn to sugar fast once eaten. If you could find a more nutrition friendly option, maybe freeze dried raw or organic high protein based kibble and add some freash food extras to the meal, that would help. Also add probiotics to every meal: amzn.to/3xqa2i0 That's a US link, are you UK? To resolve yeast, feed zero carbs or low carbs, being wholegrain. Add fresh food like eggs, canned sardines and lots of veg. And no vaccines/dewormers/flea&tick/vet meds etc.
I just took my dog to the vet yesterday and she wanted to take the “shotgun approach“. She wanted me to spend $785, of which 87 was an exam fee, which I would gladly pay if she could definitively tell me what was wrong with my dog, that’s why I went to an “expert”. But clearly after doing some research my dog has yeast dermatitis. But the vet wanted me to put her on oral antibiotics and steroids along with tests and on top of all that she lied to me and told me the oral steroid was just an allergy medication. SO FRUSTRATING! Thank you Dan for being an honest voice of reason! You are invaluable to me! I just find it quite ironic the expensive vet told me to put her on antibiotics which I know will make her yeast problems worse! She is not a young, inexperienced vet either.
I know how you feel, very frustrating. I get this in the comments daily.. reams of words about a condition the vet can't fix and the bills are outrages. Then I reply with a simple explanation and the remedy/diet/supplements needed and now the pet parent has hope and an action plan.. and for free! I don't know the history here but reading between the lines, your dog needs fresh food in the diet, some probiotics, an antibiotic both orally and topically for starters. Oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T mix 1 drop in teaspoon of olive oil, mix well and massgae into affected areas and leave on. Do this twice weekly for the next month. At the same time here's an option if feeding kibble: If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better. I just recommended your channel to a whole bunch of people that are also interested in a better way of living for their animals. Thank you for caring unlike our vets it seems!
You are most welcome Kay. I'm a big believer in canine nutrition as the means to a healthier dog. Vets don't do nutrition so don't understand a dogs nutritional needs. Food is either healing or hurting, can't do both. Thank you for spreading the word. I'm happy knowing our dogs are being helped.. they deserve it.
yeaahhh!!!! This is a very good and useful thing in my opinion about the Health Benefits of Diatomaceous Earth for Dogs [5 AMAZING Uses!], I love this.
I just bought your book. IT HAS ALL THE ANSWER I NEEDED!!!! I’m not sure if this is going to get rid of his itchy paws and ears but hey I’m giving it a shot. The thought of my pup being on apoquel forever kills me and that’s what my vet recommended!

my dog catches it so often . I am sure these ways will ease her a lot. It is really a very informative video. You have mentioned so many things I didn't know and it is surely going to help me and my dog. it seems I have been doing something wrong as well but I will make sure to follow all these steps. Thank you for this. recommending my friends having dogs as well.
Hi Dan, I was going to not bother you for at least a while, I hoped and thought but it seems my little one isn’t agreeing with something . I’m wondering if it’s the brown rice and or the ground beef in his food . I’ve been using one of your recipes from your ebook … I believe it’s 3lbs ground beef ( your recipe actually called for lamb but we substituted with beef) we get grass feed beef from a friend that raises cattle . 2lbs of vegetables… we used a mix of broccoli, cauliflower, yellow squash, zucchini squash, carrots and Brussel spouts. I add 1/4tsp nutritional yeast flakes, 1/4tsp salmon oil , 1/4 tsp baked and ground egg shells , 1/4tsp dried veg powder, 1 scoop of Enzymes, 1/2 scoop Secure, 1drop of vitamin E oil and a tiny pinch of Himalayan salt sometimes I add half a raw egg or one sardine , he gets feed twice daily and has his probiotic every morning . For the last 3 mornings straight he has awakened me throwing up a small amount that has some rice and also his bowel movements I’ve noticed has rice hence my wondering if it’s the rice bothering him . His stomach makes light noises and his skin problems seem better then not so, his itching and scratching the same , one day ok and then not so much the next day . Is there something besides brown rice , quinoa etc I can use ? I’ve heard pumpkin? Would pumpkin with what I listed earlier be sufficient? If so how much ? He weighs about 15 and is a 11 year old Yorkie. I won’t my baby well and it’s been a battle for a while now and vacation is in 5 1/2 weeks away and I want him well for our trip. Sorry for the long comment . Thank you so much for all of your help , I rely strictly on your advice as we haven’t used a vet in 10 years.
Hi Dan, can you use any kind of fresh fish? We have brim, catfish and bass in our pond and was wondering if it would be ok to give our little one fresh fish from our pond ?
Bro! I don’t give a damn how old this video is, you have helped me and my dogs so much, my dog is licking her paws like crazy, and I’d rather hear from you first, I scrolled down countless videos hoping you had some info on it, haven’t watched the video yet but I’m bout 2.
Some good advice in this video. For temp relief use the oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T, it's neat so add 2 drops to tsp olive oil, mix well and rub all over feet. The diet is the main focus as it;s lilkely the fault of the feet issues. Try and keep carbs out of the diet as they lead to yeast, itchy skin, chronic feet licking/chewing. You'll want to take have fresh food as much of the diet if you can. So if feeding kibble, take half out and relace with eggs, canned sardines (in water), part cooked and blended veggies and any meats. Add live enzymes: amzn.to/37MrINq very anti yeast. Definitely feed soil based probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU great for digestion, better gut health and anti yeast. There's more but this is a good start. And No drugs, vaccines, lots of exercise. Does take a while to shift this but does go and you have a healthier dog overall anyway.
@@DanScott1 thank you so much sir, and I bought her 5 cans of sardines today because of what you taught me on your channel. I had about a quarter bottle of that oregano oil, I filled the rest of the bottle with olive oil, so it’s about a 20 percent mixture just like you said. I have put any on her yet but I will start tomorrow. Thank you very much for your response. Thank you
Thank you so much for all the tips. We feed our GSD on Nutri Source the one with no grains chicken or salmon but have noticed that his allergies have worsen, maybe the chicken? Dont know, but I'll try probiotics in yogourt as he truly lives it. Than you so much for this great video. From Guatemala
Yes, use the soil based probiotics only: amzn.to/3yoURqU You can always take out 33% and replace with eggs, canned sardines, meats, raw green tripe and canned sardines: amzn.to/3vaXrj6 . I would do this 100% Zero vaccinations, very low carbs, no synthetics are all important. And today, buy and add this live enzyme supplement: amzn.to/2ksvlx1 start it small and build over a few days. Your dog needs live fresh foods, the kibble is not enough. Things will improve quickly. And perhaps Ketona kibble if the budget works out: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble (low carb) but still need to take out 33% and replace with fresh food extras. NO vaccs either. imp.
@@DanScott1 I’ve heard raw chicken legs are great too but am afraid of him catching salmonella, is it safe ? Here in Guatemala they only sell canned sardines with tomato sauce maybe would have to rinse them out😂 I’ll check the Amazon links you kindly provided. Thank you so much indeed‼️
@@Lilian2391 He wont get salmonella from raw meat and you can wash in 50:50 apple cider vinegar and water. Those sardines will work , wash off sauce. Can use fresh fish also. Eggs are great also.
Your welcome. It's a good list, works, but be patient as yeast is slow to work out of the body. feed very low carbs, no sugars, NO vaxx. No synthetics.
You’re amazing, love to Watch your video and follow your very important advise and educate my self for being better parents for my babies . Thank you so much 👍❤️🐶🐾
Let me get this straight.. your talking about plain dried oregano herb? Give a pinch for toy dogs under 10 pounds A bigger pinch for small dogs under 20 pounds Two pinches to a teaspoon for dogs under 50 pounds. Try it on it's own first, no other herbs so you can see its taken well. And be sure to rotate herbs so your dogs kept interested, variety is the spice of life.
Hello! I was wondering if there is any way I would be able to ask you a few questions on my dogs current health. I actually have transitioned her to the recommended 5 step kibble meal you offer and the neem oil mix but from a previous video you have up that talks about mange and other parasites. I’m starting to doubt that’s what she has due to the fact that she has constant ear infections, darkened skin, and I’ve had other dogs around her for years and none of the other dogs have caught the itches or any of her symptoms… the most recent update on her she has lost a lot of fur on her chest! This has been an on going issue for about 5 years now and after constant vet visits I’m taking matters into my own hands! Would appreciate some type of guidance if you offer it!
I'd start with diet. Halve the present meal and replace with fresh foods such as eggs, meats, sardines, organs and greens powder: amzn.to/49w0bKR For the ear infections or any infection, use oregano oil, natures antibiotic: amzn.to/3ulnF1T 1 drop in tsp olive or coconut oil, mix and add to food once daily for 3-7 days as needed to stop infection. You must reduce carbs in the diet, no vaccs, no synthetics to reduce yeast/itch. The 5 step kiblle meal is a good start, keep going.
Hi shannon, there isn't one that will do both. There's raw freeze dried kibble thats 'none' yeast but it's expensive compared to regular kibble. My free action guide will help with your dogs situation: healthydogforlife.com/guide By adding some healthy extras to the kibble and taking out a little kibble from each meal to compensate the extra calories will help to lower yeast issues.
Me watching this when my dog has blackened skin on her underbelly, constantly smells like corn chips no matter how much I bathe her and who eats 100% raw and has done for years since I got her 👁️👄👁️
May have low gut flora health from drugs/vaccines or possibly trauma. Run a course of probiotics: amzn.to/3rW4JVA for 3 months and see if this changes things. Next would be to flush the liver (important). Do this with milk thistle daily for 4 months. amzn.to/2LdsWpY I'd run both of these and even CBD oil to boost the immune system: healthydogforlife.com/CBD Let me know if you need dose size for your dogs weight if you decide to go with my recommendations.
@danscott when you said Oregon Oil… is that a quality essential oil or? I always learned to dilute according to size. Can you inform me what’s correct before I apply. TIA 😊 LIZ
Dan, I want to order the oreganol oil, but which one do you recommend? Thank you! I am having trouble with my dog, a German Shepherd, licking his paws and they have a couple open areas. It was gone and came back. He also is getting a rash in groin that gets better and then gets worse. He is trying to eat grass often. I will order a probiotic and look for better nutrition. Currently giving Purina sensitive skin and stomach Salmon. Thank you!
Hi Tricia, this is the one: amzn.to/3hxPv4U I link everything below the video in the description. Here's an excellent probiotic choice: amzn.to/3xqa2i0 These are the best 3 kibbles at the moment (video): ruclips.net/video/HdmrW_FKTp4/видео.html ANd definitely start adding some fresh food to the kibble meals (the problems stem from lack of balanced nutrition - kibble lacks vital nutritional elements) Add eggs, veg, canned sardines and hemp seed oil: amzn.to/3vDdtjX So take out 30% of the kibble in the meal and add 2 eggs (raw is best, just crack and serve), 2 cups of any veg part cooked and well crushed, 1 table spoon of the hemp oil and 1 can of sardines (packed in water). I've given you some gold there and this will make a big health difference pretty fast.
Hey Mr.Dan Scott, my dog has blackheads under his skin on his back and tail. I took him to the vet and they said it was acne. Can I apply any of this to him to help his acne? Is there any natural shampoos or anything that you would recommend to help it.
Hi, I'd look more at diet and solve the issues from the inside out rather than the other way around. So.. add fresh foods to the diet ie eggs, meats, canned sardines and offal, also drop in some sopil based probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU and then some greens for antioxidants: amzn.to/49w0bKR And no vaccines! Do the above and your dog will improve health generally and resolve the acne (the skin is an organ and showing you the problems it has from diet, additives and vet drugs, oh and possible enviromental contaminants ie floor cleaner, carpet shampoo etc)
Hi Dan! Really appreciate all the help, I do have a question as to when I should see results - I’m sure weeks but wanted to get your take on it- my pug suffers from the recurring yeast ear infections, skin infections and the constant licking- the vet doesn’t help with a resolution. I just bought all your recommendations and pray this gives her peace!
They certainly will help and for the ears use this silver spray: amzn.to/3iJ6hjB Having some great success with it. Simply spray into the eras twice daily and onto problem areas, plus add a teaspoon full to meals or drinking water. Just use for as long as the problem needs to recover. Also Dominique, adding some fresh food into the kibble diet will help lessen the underlying problem of the food causing much of the yeast isue in the first place. My free guide will help with this: healthydogforlife.com/guide The recommendations will help solve the problems short term but it's diet upgrade that solves the underlying problem from repeating itself continuously. Seen this a thousand times... literally!
Clear it powder helped my pugs ear . Clean it first with water down apple cider vinegar then add clear it powder ... RUclips shows you how to do these methods.. the clearit powder instantly stops my dog scratching ear and the apple cider vinegar cleans the ears
Hi Dan, I'm a new subscriber and have found lots of great info for my 3 chihuahuas from you. I'm hoping you can guide me in the right direction. My 8lb, 13 yo, diabetic chi had digital dermatitis and a yeast infection on all 4 paws in Feb, my vet gave me chlorhexidine shampoo and it cleared up. It's back again and I used the shampoo...didn't work. Vet said he might be sensitive to it and to stop using it, gave me an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory...didn't work, got worse. Blackish-brown crusty stuff between his pads, red, swollen, open sores, won't walk. Now its on his lips from his constant licking. Vet also gave me a Rx for Hills prescription food...utter garbage. First ingredient in the dry was wheat, 3rd ingredient in the wet was corn. I can't give him Ketona because of the high pea protein. He's eating Keto Kibble with a little ground chicken. Would the oregano oil help him or should I use somethine else?
Hills is as bad as it gets. Yes, use the organo oil, 1 drop in tsp coconut oil and rub on feet: Oregano oil: amzn.to/3ulnF1T Ues for two weeks and then assess. Also use eggs, canned sardines and a little part cooked and blended veggies with that chicken meat for balance and nutrients. Keep carbs out of the diet, no vet shots. There are pre-made raw freeze dried meals for example: Bixby Rawbble Freeze Dried Raw chicken - amzn.to/3YH6GVD Bixby Rawble - Freeze Dried Lamb - amzn.to/3kDbUmX You could transition the dogs to that diet option.
She's 16 and has a broken spirit. After a few traumatic events, trial after trial of medication, vet appointment after appointment, mom failing at home remedies, uncomfortable collars, wearing t-shirts, scratching endlessly with sleepless nights,.. I felt really hopeless today. By God's grace I came across this video and you're the 1st person who has made the connection about carbs and yeast.. I continually am being told to feed her rice. Seems like the more I give her rice the more flare up! I am cutting out all rice immediately. She does so well on veggies I have almost always made her food and recently resulted to kibble thinking it would help, but again a flare up from those carbs. I'm off to get oregano to make the salve after a good bath and she will have yogurt and veg for a while with the sardines until I can order everything you have linked. This could change everything and I hope it does...she's unhappy in her golden years and I'm weary from the frustration.
Now your on the right path. Reduce all carbs, sugars, drugs, vaccines. She needs fresh foods like eggs, canned sardines, part cooked and blended veg, and meats. A few recommendations: Soil based probiotics only for yeasty dogs: amzn.to/3yoURqU Add to food daily, start small and build to normal dose over several days. @@DanScott1 Thank you! Rice is gone and keeping up with the veg. I'm searching for the sardines. Things seem to have settled a bit but I'm just now getting to the oil of oregano. Thinking back I was Forced to get her shots last year when moving into a new place - it had been 8 or 9 years maybe more since any kind of shot and everything about her changed. I tried some remedies for what I thought was ear mites (coconut oil, green tea, acv, teatree oil mixture etc) she hated it all and then couldn't hear me At All. Now she seems to hear me halfway but only really loud and pitched voice..I think its all gunked up, and definitely yeasty as she still shakes her head and scratches. Kitties are always sniffing her ears too. Do you recommend anything other than rubbing the 20% oregano solution into her ear? Starting from today I will have a good baseline now thats shes been without carbs and I'm confident all skin yeast will be killed with the oil mixture. @@officialyinhomeyogallc Best deal I've found on sardines: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6 Yes it's rife and all from commercial pet food and drugs/vaccines. Clean it all out of the ears as far as you can, then strict diet will improve things.
You mentioned thats antibiotics could be harmful to the dogs gut. My dog takes joint supplements. Do the supplements have a negative effect as well or is it safe to continue giving them to him? Thank you for your video by the way. I loved how you made a healthy kibble diet option.

Hi, thank you for the help! My 2 year old female Standard Poodle has chronic ear infections; with a black grease that never seems to leave, no matter how I try to manage them: vet visits for meds did not work, a variety of ear washes and ear powders to clean and dry up the moist insides of her ears; and a variety of dietary changes that do not seem to help. I tried the Lavender wash yesterday seen on your YT channel and that actually made the black grease worse the next day. At this point, i have no idea where to proceed. I will try the colloidal silver today, thank you!
The silver is excellent for ear infection. To clean the ears out, try using apple cider vinegar mixed 50:50 with water and wipe out the grease. Your right, it's the underlying diet that needs attention to clear the ears of infection and slow down the creation of yeast in the body. More fresh food in the diet is needed. There's my free guide which helps: healthydogforlife.com/guide or my ebook: Feed Your Dog Better contains three diet options: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/ This may offer you some alternatives to work with.

Treat the condition with CBD oil orally and externally at the site of infection, this will boost your dogs immune system for faster healing. Also introduce a healthier diet to aid the immune system to heal infection.
@@ABWeaver CBD is good for boosting the dogs immune system so it can fight off infection and soothe arthritis pain. If yeast outbreak is your dogs main problem, it's their diet - kibble - that's the cause. To replace vet antibiotics - really bad for a dogs digestive system - use Oregano oil. Mix pure oregano oil with virgin olive oil at 1 part oregano oil to 4 parts olive oil, a 20% solution. So a 100ml bottle would be 80ml olive oil and 20ml oregano oil. Oregano oil has excellent anti-fungal properties. For yeast infection, cancers, allergies, parasites, digestive problems, kennel cough or to boost the immune system, rub some oregano oil mixed with virgin olive oil on the pads of your dogs feet and between toes daily. It will soak in and do the job of an antibiotic for internal infections but without killing off your dogs gut flora like vet prescribed antibiotics do. For skin legions, skin cancers, sarcoptic and demodectic mange, bee stings and bug bites, ear infection, muscle pain, arthritis, contact dermatitis and any type of external yeast infection, rub the 20% solution onto the area daily until its gone. You can also mix it with coconut oil if you have that.
How many days in a row can we apply oregano oil to the arthritic hips and paws? I know that you aren’t supposed to ingest it for more than 10 days at a time. Is it the same if it is being applied topically? Put in on for 10’days, wait a week, then repeat ?

Some pet parents won't go this far, but may go for adding fresh food to kibble which makes a big difference and in turn may lead to further raw food options when they see the healthy outcomes. Step by step, little by little. I even eat raw myself! Thanks Melissa, appreciate your enthusiasm for raw diet for our dogs.
I raw feed both my Pits since they weened. Kibble is not food. It’s a slow kill, but we took a vacation down to Florida and my male has an awful rash in his armpits and genitals. I was thinking it was fungal.
I love this video, my dog is going through it right now. The skin under her armpits looks similar to elephant skin and she also has chewed up all her paws. I feel terrible that I started it because I tried to switch her foods. Any recommendations before I bring her to the vet ? She’s started to act depressed and I’m assuming it’s because she’s so sore. Could the probiotics result in any adverse reactions? Should I consult with my vet before giving it to my dog? He has suffered from itchy red paws for a while now and I find him to be licking his paws quite often. I am going to start with the oregano oil and see if that helps. I feed my dog a raw diet from Darwin’s pet products. My dog has never had a antibiotic or flea medication. I give him a medical grade probiotic with enzymes. My poor baby licks his paws and his belly has yeast. ☹️ I’ll try that probiotic, was using novequin. Which helps so much bc he never has gas.
I have a maltese and practically allergic to everything - we took an allergy test since hes been itching and has yeast infection. On medication now but feeling helpless since he us unable to sleep well at night. Should I give him yogurt everyday?

Not so much if the diet is good. And by good, I mean a more natural fresh food based diet. If the skin (the bodies largest organ) gets fed properly from the inside, there's very little or no yeast issue.

The antibiotics are for the infection and wont stop the yeast/itching, for that diet has to be altered. First step would be to identify if a neighbor is feeding your dog yeast. Usually the dog will run to the same spot when you let them outside, to search for more food.

@@reginalee4114 Hi Jackie, though I'd chime in.
Re the ingredients in that Turkey meal:
Ingredients:
Dehydrated turkey, organic flaxseed, dehydrated potatoes, dehydrated spinach, dehydrated carrots, dried organic coconut, dried apples, dehydrated eggs, dried bananas, dehydrated celery, dried cranberries, dried organic kelp, minerals [tricalcium phosphate, potassium chloride, choline chloride, zinc amino acid chelate, iron amino acid chelate, potassium iodide, copper amino acid chelate, sodium selenite], taurine, vitamins [vitamin E supplement, vitamin B12 supplement, thiamine mononitrate (vitamin B1), calcium pantothenate (vitamin B5), riboflavin (vitamin B2), vitamin D3 supplement], fish oil (a natural source of DHA and EPA).
Also add probiotics to every meal: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
That's a US link, are you UK?

What dog food do you feed? Thank you, thank you
i’m confused; i’ve only ever been given apoquel. it’s pretty expensive. so maybe i will try this ? is the selsun something you can buy at the store ?

At the same time here's an option if feeding kibble:

Your most welcome.
Where am I able to ask you a question about the book I purchased?

Yes and yes.

I just bought your book. IT HAS ALL THE ANSWER I NEEDED!!!! I’m not sure if this is going to get rid of his itchy paws and ears but hey I’m giving it a shot. The thought of my pup being on apoquel forever kills me and that’s what my vet recommended!

My pleasure. Glad you liked the information and found it useful.
There is so much info here I'm gonna need to watch this a dozen times
I do go on a bit, but so much to say.. and I like detail.. Thanks for watching: bottom line is moving to more fresh foods in the diet and keeping carbs low as many kibbles are loaded with carbs 40%+.
This may help:
If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.

By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.

Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues)

Yes, use the soil based probiotics only: amzn.to/3yoURqU
You can always take out 33% and replace with eggs, canned sardines, meats, raw green tripe and canned sardines: amzn.to/3vaXrj6 . I would do this 100%
Zero vaccinations, very low carbs, no synthetics are all important.
And today, buy and add this live enzyme supplement: amzn.to/2ksvlx1 start it small and build over a few days.

Can we use oregano seasoning ?? & the way to use it.. i mean how much to use, and to be added to the food ?
Let me get this straight.. your talking about plain dried oregano herb?
Give a pinch for toy dogs under 10 pounds
A bigger pinch for small dogs under 20 pounds
Two pinches to a teaspoon for dogs under 50 pounds.
Halve the present meal and replace with fresh foods such as eggs, meats, sardines, organs and greens powder: amzn.to/49w0bKR
For the ear infections or any infection, use oregano oil, natures antibiotic: amzn.to/3ulnF1T 1 drop in tsp olive or coconut oil, mix and add to food once daily for 3-7 days as needed to stop infection.
You must reduce carbs in the diet, no vaccs, no synthetics to reduce yeast/itch.
The 5 step kiblle meal is a good start, keep going.
thank you for sharing this amazing video

Great work man! it's excellent guide for much better dog health. Thank you for these 5 essential step to stop it like yeast infection of dog.
Glad you liked it.
Do this with milk thistle daily for 4 months. amzn.to/2LdsWpY
I'd run both of these and even CBD oil to boost the immune system: healthydogforlife.com/CBD

Thank you!
Hi Tricia, this is the one: amzn.to/3hxPv4U
I link everything below the video in the description.
Here's an excellent probiotic choice: amzn.to/3xqa2i0
These are the best 3 kibbles at the moment (video): ruclips.net/video/HdmrW_FKTp4/видео.html
ANd definitely start adding some fresh food to the kibble meals (the problems stem from lack of balanced nutrition - kibble lacks vital nutritional elements)
Add eggs, veg, canned sardines and hemp seed oil: amzn.to/3vDdtjX
So take out 30% of the kibble in the meal and add 2 eggs (raw is best, just crack and serve), 2 cups of any veg part cooked and well crushed, 1 table spoon of the hemp oil and 1 can of sardines (packed in water).
I've given you some gold there and this will make a big health difference pretty fast.
Also- thank you for the awesome video. The oregano bit was something I’ve never heard before!
Thank you. Oregano oil is my go too antibiotic for me and dogs.
So.. add fresh foods to the diet ie eggs, meats, canned sardines and offal, also drop in some sopil based probiotics: amzn.to/3yoURqU and then some greens for antioxidants: amzn.to/49w0bKR
And no vaccines!
Do the above and your dog will improve health generally and resolve the acne (the skin is an organ and showing you the problems it has from diet, additives and vet drugs, oh and possible enviromental contaminants ie floor cleaner, carpet shampoo etc)
Thanks for the info. I needed a solution to a chronic problem and you delivered.
Hi Marie, appreciate the time taken to comment and VERY happy you and your dog have a solution.
They certainly will help and for the ears use this silver spray: amzn.to/3iJ6hjB
Having some great success with it.

Hi Dan. Are yeast and exzema in dogs ears the same?
Yeast tends to be secondary to exzema but both problems related for me.
Here's some help if you feed kibbles and have yeast issues:
If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (preferably organic), canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.
Some must do's:
Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues)
Very low carbs in diet 10% (cause of inflammation and later, cancer)
No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives.
Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it.
NO white foods ie rice, potato, pasta..

Hi and sorry you've been up so late with this. I have a great video on dog ear infection and what you can do about it: ruclips.net/video/N-ZvwMOF52A/видео.html
Hopefully you have one of the remedies discussed in the video to hand. I also recommend my free guide that will help stop the underlying cause of ear infection: httpa://healthydogforlife.com/guide

Wat oils to use
Use soil based probiotics to improve digestion and skin: amzn.to/3yoURqU
And for skin conditions use oregano oil which is antibiotic: amzn.to/3ulnF1T
Mix 1tsp oregano oil to 4 tsp olive oil, mix well and apply to skin where needed.
With oregano oil, can essential oil be used with the virgin olive oil? If so, how many drops to how much olive oil?
2 drops in 1tsp, mix (small dog 1 drop). Yes olive oil is good.
@@DanScott1 Thank you

How much and for how long
@@adamchristner007 How big is your dog? Small dog 1 can a week, med dog, 2 cans a week, large dog, 3 cans a week.

What's the extras I should add to my dogs kibble?
The basics are soil based probiotics good for yeasty dogs: amzn.to/3yoURqU
Core Immune CARE - Daily Antioxidant and Nutritional Supplement - Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18 very important for antioxidants much needed by your dog.
For food, it's cut 50% of the meals dry food and replace with raw eggs, canned sardines (in water), lots of part cooked and blended veggies and some meat proteins ie chicken, even a little raw liver on top really helps too.
This WILL make such a healthy difference. Start small and build this over 1 week.
Ok my dog really get iriitated by some rashes in ears and later on she developed a haematoma in ears doc. What you suggest?
Treat the condition with CBD oil orally and externally at the site of infection, this will boost your dogs immune system for faster healing. Also introduce a healthier diet to aid the immune system to heal infection.
@@DanScott1 So CBD is good for yeast?
Yes you could do that and combine with more fresh foods in the diet like raw eggs, canned sardines, part cooked and blended veggies. Also add a little turmeric. And some GLM: Green Lipped Mussel Oil - Safe Sea by Four Leaf Rover: amzn.to/3Fl4Bqm
Turmeric for dogs (liquid) - amzn.to/3laPqtc
Hi Dan, I was wondering how often do I need to switch recipes when feeding? I know your ebook says once a week but I’ve just started him a week ago and was wondering if that still applies considering he’s just getting started ?
One food option to get settled into is great the fist few weeks, then a couple other options after that is fine.
@@DanScott1 thanks so much! I’m noticing the yeast is already doing much better, he is still spitting up some but maybe still getting adjusted? One more thing I’m curious about , I’ve heard beans is bad for a dogs heart? Also if that’s not true is salt free can green beans ok? Can they be chopped small instead of mashed if so ?
@@shelliebuford3064 Beans arn't the best for dogs, tricky to digest. They need straight proteins like eggs, meats, organs, sardines. Go slow on any food/supplement addition as the gut needs to change its flora to the new foods.

Omg kibble diet! Heck noooo! Raw complete diet is the only way
Some pet parents won't go this far, but may go for adding fresh food to kibble which makes a big difference and in turn may lead to further raw food options when they see the healthy outcomes.
You have to start from scratch.
Here's the no's:
NO vaccs, no meds, no vet antibiotics, no vitamins, no synthetics ie loaded in bad foods, no carbs or very very low (important). Carbs cause inflammation and histamines and they cause the crazy itch that drive dogs mental and you loosing sleep. Not only that but take ages to go once your on the wagon.

So my yorkie has been riddled with ongoing yeast infections along with the beginning of kidney disease. What the heck am I suppose to feed her if I can't give her protein or complex carbohydrates? She's currently eating Just Food For dogs Renal formula and the base for that food is rice.
I recommend transitioning your Yorkie to either a freeze dried raw food or those pre-made raw food dinners.
Freeze-dried: Bixby Rawbble Freeze Dried Raw chicken - amzn.to/3YH6GVD
Frozen: Primal or Steves real food.
To stop the yeast and save the kidneys, feed very low carbs, normal fats and quality protiens.
Your dog now needs fresh foods not canned or packet food. And rice is a carb and bad for health while feeding yeast growth.
That Just for food recope is too high fat, too high carbs and too low proteins (powerfully important to dog health).
If your vet is saying low protein, at least this assures you'll be back for more bills ongoing as health deteriorates. That's the model!
If she has good appetite, start switching diets now slowly over a couple weeks, some old to new food and build up new to old food until it's 100% new food.

Whats the diet?

*QUESTION* does my dog have to have a meat ingredient in his kibble. Because I am having a hard time finding the right kibble for him, the only one that doesn’t upset his stomach is vegetarian royal canine. Before this he was fine on taste of the wild with meat products but had to switch due to bladder stones.
You can add the extras from the Healthier Kibble Diet to the royal canine veg. That will supply the meat portion of the diet, just add daily a bit extra of the proteins and don't forget the probiotics.
