Do it! There’s plenty of us, for moral support. And if if you fall off the wagon, the worst thing that has happened is that you’ve bought a book, so it’s win-win :)
Bonne chance! At least you will have seven volumes down when you tackle Proust. Though I did notice that the newer version I bought combines the fifth and sixth novels into one volume (The Captive" and "The Fugitive" aka "The Sweet Cheat Gone.")

Thanks- just caught your Chanel and subbed. Love the purple drum kit!
@GenreBooks23 thank you for subbing!
And yes, it is a nice purple kit.
You can do it. I’m also exempting vintage or rare books if I come across them at a good price.
Sensible caveat! I’m going to try mitigate that possibility by not looking, but you never know :)
I love your rationale for including the British Library!
I’m going to try very very hard to believe it!
I love your logic for claiming ownership of the books in the British Library! 😂 Good luck with your challenge!
Thanks. In fairness I’m not allowed to actually take the books out of the British Library- it’s just really intense browsing:)
I need to re-vamp my TBR Zero challenge and turn it into the Read What You Own Challenge!
So excited to hear about what you read!!
Do it, you are pretty much doing the challenge anyway, it will just be a rebranding!
@ I will!! Thank you for the encouragement!!
I'm seriously considering joining you in this challenge.

Oh no! I want to have finished the challenge way before I finish the Proust! The first couple of novels might count towards the total..
Good luck. I would never participate even with 40+ books in a Pile of Possibilities.
Well I tried last year, and failed in the mid forties. That was better, because no-one was watching:)
Good Luck. I've tried it a couple of times but it doesn't work for me but I'm always interested to see others attempts.
I think they call that schadenfreude :)
