Super 1049 Bale Wagon Picks Up Bales

After a few years of tinkering and making slow progress on this project, it is finally into the field. It's not perfect and it still needs some work to be in good running order and reliable, but hey it's a start!
When I started looking for a way to pick up bales for our hay operation I was just looking for a pull type bale wagon. I posted a wanted ad on craigslist and a gentleman out of Wisconsin responded and told me what model he had, at first I didn't have any interest because it is a bit overkill for our size of operation. But I couldn't turn down the challenge for the price he was asking. I like working on equipment and doing my own fabricating, this project came with a steep learning curve but the end is in sight.
Now we can increase our small square bale production.

I am still very thankful for this piece of equipment. Saves time, effort,and back work. Just miss the time with my best friend and husband.
