Trams were an essential part of it. Their looks, modest speed, XIX century excitement, noise, efficiency, reliability... they wouldn't, ever, let you down. They still populate my memories from the city. And sometimes, my dreams too. Bless them. Bless you.
Great show! How much we all lost... At that time Porto was at once highly mechanized and human. Today it’s highly mechanized and... highly mechanized. I m only utterly grateful I grew up in there at that time. This kind of city just doesn’t exist any more. Cheers
