Hinata a innocent girl who was mentally abused by her father and because of it had no faith and confidence in herself. She then gets aspired Naruto and trains very hard and always does her best and tries to be better in everything she does which is why she’ll always be my favorite Naruto female character. Really wished she had more screen time as well.

Not sure if you have seen it, but check out "The Last: Naruto the Movie." It's pretty much all about them after Shippuden.
The movie didn't even try to develop it much...they thought people wanted drama and action but we really wanted romance...that's unique and different for the series films and would of been a great last film to change it up ..all that toneri stuff feels forced

Hinata was totally invincible, despite being flung and falling a hundred feet, being stabbed with metal stakes and bleeding profusely. Then, as Naruto and Pain fight, the area she is in is crushed by giant chunks of earth, burned in a giant fireball, flooded. Still, she survives. Tough as nails. The scene here where she professes her love was my favorite moment of Shippuden.

Hinata is so great. I love the moment.
Hinata learned three things that day:
1) continue the fight until the enemy has neutralized before rescuing Naruto.
2) like Wile E.Coyote, falling to the ground from that high up, really hurts.
3) never scare Naruto and/or the fans ever again!
I am still baffled how she didn’t break her neck from that fall.
She's not neutralizing Pain.

Hearing her say those words made me happy and excited. I am a huge fan of relationships, like Naruto and Hinata.
Keep in mind, Naruto never talked to her about this event after Pain was defeated. This would have been the perfect point in the story for Naruto to acknowledge her feelings and develop his own. Missed opportunity IMO.

However, the war arc is where Kishimoto's wife stepped in and gave him advice about letting the Hinata relationship flourish. Kishi still did a terrible job at it, but that was one of his weaknesses as a writer. Naruto despite this is an incredibly strong story.

Despite not having enough screen time this is without question Hinata's shining moment in Naruto Shippuden next to her marrying Naruto
She only had like 2 big moments in Shippuden which sucks. Actually more like just 2 moments in general not just big ones. This character had so much more potential. Her screen time was low and she was underdeveloped. Kishi lowkey dropped the ball on her but not really at the same time because she still ended up being probably one the top 5 most popular characters in the entire Anime based off her design and shyness alone.

He didn't really write the romance in the film ...he made the designs..wrote some of the lure and otsutsuki stuff... he just was asked for some ideas from his own life aka the scarf significance and the name written of the person you would to spend your last day with on a piece of paper...he said he could not write them falling in love cause he saw them as his kids and siblings so it felt awkward
