Respect? This has happened numerous times now. When is he actually going to do something about it? Everything I saw wrong in this game I attribute to the coaching staff. It's one thing to play your ass off and the other team just can't miss, but when you've got guys that aren't within 10ft of shooters, forwards with zero rebounds, guards that will not pass the ball, etc., that's on the coaching. It will be interesting to see if he actually has any control or if things continue to spiral downward. Could see a mass exodus at the end of the season if he doesn't figure it out soon.

Coach and Staff know a change is needed to get blocks and rebounds on defense and offensive rebounds more. Even the more inexperienced big men in the '5'-middle to help Maliq Brown at the '4'-SF. Use the Sm-F and G's for the breaks for offense or 2nd chance shots on offense. This isn't an offensive potent team, even with Judah's driving skills. "Shooters" at the 3-pt line are more inconsistent than reliable, but they could be match-up zone pressers with the 'Big-5/4' holding down the middle and the weak side.

Want to feel for him but it was so pathetic to watch. I would bench Bell and Benny indefinitely. I have no problem with Judah leaving too. I see no way this team can salvage this season. I was at the BC game. Just no flow at all. They can not score. To say this team sucks is being nice.

Now there is an equal amount of hype about the 'great' recruits for next season, and what an 'awesome' team that will be. I am honestly weary of this repetitive pile of tripe. Very dysfunctional, immature team with ZERO on court leadership. Sure, we have a ton of issues (lack of physicality, no rebounding except Malik and sometimes JT and Bennie), little effort to stay in front of your man, continously jogging back on defense after misses, over dribbling while 4 others stand around waiting for god knows what...but we still have some talent to work with...we absolutely 💯 need a bunch of our players join the portal at the season end, and that would be a positive allowing Red to recruit fir the many holes we need to fill...no more chances for Bell and Williams...addition by subtraction 😊
A lot of blame to go around, but Benny Williams continues to be a poster child for bad behavior, and has become a cancer on this team. Wins are one thing, but establishing a positive, accountable culture is primary. How many chances is this kid going to get?
He’ll be out end of the season. The other forwards are SO limited so they need the upside I imagine. But, yeah, enough is enough with the antics and behavior. Red really needs to hit the Portal HARD and overhaul a lot of pieces of this roster. Bell should be at a Fresno St. Taylor at Old Dominion or Mercer. The Benny experiment needs to end AND we have four project Centers on the team who don’t contribute. Rough.
I'd rather see him go deeper into the bench, even walk ons abs watch players who want to play and work hard and lose by 25 than watch unmotivated "stars"

In 1976 Jim Boeheim took over a program that was consistently in the top 20 & had just come off a trip to the final four. When he finally retired a decade too late, he left a program that couldn’t get in the NIT. That’s factual information. SU does not matter any more in division 1 basketball. Stick a fork in us. I think if Syracuse seriously wants to compete against Duke, UNC, and UVA, they need to move on from Benny, JT, CBell and one of the centers. They need to pick up a big men who can score and rebound (Like Rick Jackson, Arinze Onuaku etc). They need a solid forward who can score and play defense (Like CJ Fair and Kris Joseph), and a guard who can shoot and play defense. I think Freeman and Moore can be good, but I'm not sure if they can count on freshmen to immediately produce.

Mintz is not the type of player you build a team around, yes he can score (via the free throw) but he can’t catch a loose ball half the time and gives away possessions with bad decisions. And Starling is your big transfer acquisition who cannot shoot. Get some new blood in here, start over.
