In this week's episode, we went to this abandoned hunters manor. With an exquisite exterior and mysterious garden, where we even found a grenade, the interior left us even more speechless.

That huge carved obelisk looks like it is amber. It could be far more valuable then the building and the property depending on what the inclusions inside of it are. Another absolutely enthralling video. Great work!

The nicest artifact is the light fixture on the ceiling at 14:42 mins. of the video! The small marble table where the dragon's sitting (16:50 mins.) is also beautiful... I can't imagine being surrounded by so much death and waking up to all those boars and deer everywhere! In terms of Feng shui, no wonder this mansion is encapsuled in death...! The man must have suffered with his health...

Trip wire on grenade.....Booby trap? That was the scariest part of this lodge. And this place is spooky as heck!!! This reminds me of one of those secret society places, you only hear about. I am in the USA and it is really fascinating to see what life was like for people in other countries. This place was huge and I love all the wood. Those wooden wardrobes were gorgeous. I think my husband would be constantly walking hunched over as the ceilings look really low. I know it was done to help save on heating but in America we are not so smart and got used to really high ceilings. Now going in to someplace like this, I would feel claustrophobic. Thank you for taking us along on this journey.

About grenades… Story time with granny Debbie. About 1 million years ago when I was around 16, my parents bought this old cottage on Chesapeake Bay. No central heat so just for summer months. Daddy explored the attic and found lots of books in German and a box of ordinance. “He must have been a spy!” My mother screamed. She was very distraught about the ordinance and told my dad to call the guy and tell him to come and get it. My dad calmly said yes. Fast forward to 1995 when my dad passed. One weekend I decided to clean out the garden shed which my dad always kept locked. He was very easy-going but had told me rather sternly that I didn’t need to go in there and did he’d get anything I needed. So I started cleaning it out and G whiz, found the box of ordinance. I picked up a pineapple grenade walked over to my husband and said look what I found. His eyes became very big and round and said put it down. Turns out it was live, as was most everything else in the box. We called out to Fort Pickett, which is next to the town in which I live, and they said they be back in touch. The next day people came from Fort Bellevoir in Northern Virginia and took everything, no questions asked. I had gone on to work and told my principal that if some military people came in looking for me it was about a grenade we found in my dad shed. I turned around and left her wide-eyed too.

Explomo - I’ve told another explorer that I was old enough to be his grandmother; have since learned that she’s about 10 years older. When I tell a story like this, I feel like I should be in a rocker with cap on head and quilt over my legs😊. I was using the dictation program and it spelt my name wrong; should be Debby with a y.
When I found that box and learned that most everything was live, I was so angry at that guy who had probably been dead for years. Daddy was a tinkerer so it’s a wonder he didn’t blow himself up! Course he was in WWII so he probably knew!

Great video! Creepy place though. Those metal legs are called leg guards (leg armor) used to protect knights on horses mainly. I used to do reinactment fighting and i used to sometimes wear armor. Its very heavy and can weigh up to six stone! Some knights used to be pulled up by ropes onto a horse Its very difficult to move while wearing it and you dont get much vision when wearing a helmet. I mainly prefered to sword fight with no armor other than a helmet gauntlets gloves and my sword. 😊

Amazing hunters manor. I only see a few medium size deer like hunted game, and most are small animals and owls etc. Frame 10:42 painting on the wall, is seriously disturbing. I believe it is called, Massacre of Innocence. Why would someone hang a painting of infants and babies being slaughtered and killed? Especially in a Hunters Club Manor, where there is a girl's doll sitting on the table. What mother brings a little girl to a place like this. This is sickening. Let's hope animals are all they hunted.🤔

Hi Maureno and Remon, Explomo, This was indeed a very unusual manor house you found to explore. Thank you so much for
sharing this exceptional adventure with us viewers. - I also really liked listening to your comment, when you were discovering
more and more unusual items in that villa, which looked quite strange with this peculiar tower. - It's a shame and a pity, leaving
such an impressive and interesting building just decaying away. - I wonder if the owner did not have any relatives, who might have
been able and interested to take over this property. - Mysterious! - However very good camerawork, because I had somehow the
feeling as if I was walking together with you through the rooms of this a bit creepy and strange location. - Glad mothing happened
to you all with this certainly dangerous grenade! - Wishing you all the best and good luck in the running new year. Kindest regards.

Thank you so much Susan. Like you say, many unique things were waiting for us to be found in this property. The first urban explorers even found many guns inside of here, but think by know they are stolen or taken out by a caretaker. Think you are right about the bust, concerning the fact it is located in France as well. Thank you for watching! :-)

Did anyone notice that this house probably has been occupied after 1986 because on the energy efficient lightbulbs on the chandelier. Energy efficient lightbulbs did not exist in 1986.
    It was only incandescent bulbs.
Also, some clothes shown on the dresser are not from the 80’s and on of the beds seemed like someone took a rest on it.

Really nice house, love it. What are those papers on the windows... With a eye on it. And that handgranate, looks like a boobytrap.... Creepy.

Hi Michelle, that’s a very good question. The “eye papers” were telling that people are looking after the place, perhaps to keep people from a distance. As a door was standing open, we could not resist taking a quick look inside. We did not felt comfortable about that grenade. Luckily everything worked out well in the end. Thank you for watching! 😁

I’m glad to see that you are wearing a hat! With all of the cobwebs you find, and the spiders, dead or alive that you are afraid of, a hat is the way to go! Thank you for the video. I really liked the statues. It’s too bad that you didn’t have more time. But I thank you for the video. Take Care.

Guys, I love to watch you. You find really fabulous places to explore. Your English is very good. But I do wish you could have more time to really explore! Would love to see the whole outside, all the statues, and down the steps out to what looked like maybe a fountain. I felt like we missed seeing so many things. Maybe you can go back some time. Thanks!👍

Cool place guys. I really liked the grounds, I'll bet the outside gardens were beautiful when it was new. I never understand the taxidermy thing, a healthy, beautiful animal killed and stuffed? Hunting to feed a family makes sense, but for pleasure, I don't get it. Honestly men, you could show me a pile of bricks and I would be fascinated. The integrity you show respecting the properties, and your passion for the abandoned places is infectious. Hope your studies are going well! Love Nurse Caroline

It’s beautiful!! But I’m dying for the story!!

    • @Explomo
      @Explomo  4 года назад

Hi Jashley, it is located in a small town and was used by hunters who hunted during the day and eventually drank a beer in the basement all together. Nowadays, most of the hunters are dead and some of them are too old to maintain the property. It is not being used anymore and left to decay during the years, sadly enough...
Hope this helped! Thank you very much for watching 😁

That place is really creepy, I would be afraid to go in there.its just as creepy on the inside as it is on the outside.there are bones all over the place and they don’t all look like they’re from animals. It looks like they did rituals in that circle room. Too many stuffed animals for me.its like a haunted mansion of death I’m going to have nightmares from that place

Oh this place is amazing! Hurts to see it rotting away like this! Someone should at least try and rescue some of the antiques there. I would try to find the owners and see if they would sell all the stuff and let me clean it out for them. If it is owned by the bank..? Well I am sure you can figure that one out!

What seemed strange was that the calendar said 1986, and the appliances (coffee maker, etc) looked like they were from the 80s, but at 12:27 in the hallway chandelier there were the spiral CFL light bulbs and at least in the US those came out around 2004 or so. I wouldn't think they existed in Europe in the 80s. Am I wrong?

Great find. This house has a real sense of humor. The guy depicted in the two busts is Napoleon III, last Emperor of the French, nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte. Elected President in 1848. When barred from reelection he seized power and declared himself Emperor in 1852. Overthrown in 1870 when France lost the war with Prussia. Kind of a clown who thought himself comparable to his uncle. He wasn't in so many ways. Not fondly remembered today. He is responsible for the beauty of modern Paris which he had extensively rebuilt. Having his bust on display goes along with the humorous theme in this cookey place. He has however, aged better than the gross stuffed animals.
