- In this video, we show you a delicious Ottoman Sherbet Recipe. This amazing spiced fruit juice is inspired by Ertugrul and is popular in parts of Turkey. Fresh fruits and spices are used to create the most wonderful and aromatic summer fruit juice that is perfect for Eid. The Ottoman Sherbet recipe is easy to make and absolutely incredible with a rich depth of flavour.
To make this Ottoman Sherbet Recipe, you will need:
8 to 10 plums
1 cup cherries
1 cup grapes
1 litre water (for boiling)
1 cinnamon stick
3 to 4 cloves
slice of lemon
1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
water to dilute as per your taste
This spiced fruit juice recipe was popular in the time of the Ottomans and made using summer fruits and spices. You truly will be blown away by the amazing and aromatic flavour of this Ottoman Sherbet Recipe. This is an Eid Special Recipe and we hope that you do give it a try. The Ottoman Sherbet is best served chilled, or at room temperature with ice cubes. The Ottoman Sherbet is quite concentrated, so feel free to dilute it with water as per your taste.

It's really delicious with grapes, plums and cherries but you can try it with any types of berries of your choice 😊
