If I had a gf she would know I am ready to die to be .1 seconds faster, and if she cant deal with it, she shouldn’t be my gf! Yes its hard to loose someone, especially your kids, and I understand all the pain. Its horrible I know, but at least they died doing what they loved! Just imagine he would have survived, and the next day he would have ben ran over by a bus or something, not implausible, he would have lived to die the next day in a way he wouldnt have ben agreeing to! Yeah it so good it has clips from another race. You'll see a completely green bike in a couple of shots in 3rd place.... but the rest of the time it's a red/beige or red/ with a little bit of green...

This is what bike racing is all about. Forget World Superbike and Moto GP. Unbelievable racing. William was a great racer and is much missed like his Dad and Uncle.

That's nothing to say "GP drivers are bad" or something. They are just not as crazy to throw their life and their family/kids away just for this.

THIS type of motorcycle racing, the Isle of Man TT, MUST be personally witnessed to be believed; to be TOLD the bikes are clocking 200 mph on an ordinary country road, NO ONE would believe you. Massive KUDOS to all of the participants for an outstanding, and hair-raising, performance!

MotoGP is racing a computer designed, hand built machine that received unlimited cutting edge engineering and materials, running on a meticulously designed and immaculately maintained race circuit. And Rossi and Marquez are super men and it is wonderful beyond words. But Irish road racing that’s ROAD racing is taking manhood to a new level that only a few can dare look in the face.

It is truly heart breaking when we as fans lose one of our hero's of the sport. You have to remember that there office is on a bike running 160 mph and there is nothing that stops them from going to work because they love there job and wouldnt be happier doing anything else. We shouldn't be sad because he passed doing what he loved the most. We should remember all the memorable moments and unbelievable moves and heart stopping moments that he has done. The races against his brother how they put us in the edge of our seats all the positive things he had accomplished. He is in heaven still doing what he loved and God bless the man for the memories he maybe gone but not forgotten!@

I'm halfway through Michael Dunlops book it's a brilliant read and I'd recommend it to any racing fan although it's gets a bit tough when he talks about the bond he had with William since the book was made in 2016. I remember welling up a bit when he called William his best friend!
'Just Joey' is a book I've read a thousand times now. My 'Go To' book. Not got Michaels book yet but I'm dropping hints to the missus as it's my birthday soon and she (nor the kids) got it for me at Xmas. I could easily buy it myself but it means so much more when it comes from a loved one.

I don't own a bike. I don't care for bikes. I don't care for MotoGP. But THIS, TT, Isle of Man, is the greatest type of competition I've ever seen. I LOVE it. It makes me feel so many emotions. I hope I get to witness it live some day.
The most fun I've ever had spectating at a race was watching the Dunlop brothers battle it out at the Northwest 200. These guys are legends as far as I'm concerned.
It's a shame that the Isle o Man overshadows this class, yes the TT is an amazing thing, but these Irish Road races are always a fantastic spectacle to behold. Much respect to all the people that do the road racing, you lot a are a different breed.
I know what you mean. I grew up in Belfast a few miles from Dundrod and it still gets me that the Ulster GP falls third in line to the TT and the North West.
I agree mate the tt is surely a classic but these races are truly man to man, bike to bike, tire to tire and at close range. These guys are the best in all of motorsports.

For the TT you must compete in the Manx TT and or have competed in a short circuit races(with good results).You need to be at the top of your game with a proven record to compete!

Moto gp is scripted,Valentino Rossi couldn't find the balls to ride at such speeds when he went there in 2009,TT is real,raw,unscripted

I'm halfway through Michael Dunlops book it's a brilliant read and I'd recommend it to any racing fan although it's gets a bit tough when he talks about the bond he had with William since the book was made in 2016. I remember welling up a bit when he called William his best friend!

'Just Joey' is a book I've read a thousand times now. My 'Go To' book. Not got Michaels book yet but I'm dropping hints to the missus as it's my birthday soon and she (nor the kids) got it for me at Xmas. I could easily buy it myself but it means so much more when it comes from a loved one.

I don't own a bike. I don't care for bikes. I don't care for MotoGP. But THIS, TT, Isle of Man, is the greatest type of competition I've ever seen. I LOVE it. It makes me feel so many emotions.
I hope I get to witness it live some day.
The most fun I've ever had spectating at a race was watching the Dunlop brothers battle it out at the Northwest 200. These guys are legends as far as I'm concerned.

It's a shame that the Isle o Man overshadows this class, yes the TT is an amazing thing, but these Irish Road races are always a fantastic spectacle to behold. Much respect to all the people that do the road racing, you lot a are a different breed.

I know what you mean. I grew up in Belfast a few miles from Dundrod and it still gets me that the Ulster GP falls third in line to the TT and the North West.

I agree mate the tt is surely a classic but these races are truly man to man, bike to bike, tire to tire and at close range. These guys are the best in all of motorsports.
ғɪʟʟ 1ɴ ᴛ҉ ʜ3 ʙʟᴀɴᴋs you can’t just turn up to any road racing, you need to qualify and prove yourself as a competent racer and have a race licence. For the TT you must compete in the Manx TT and or have competed in a short circuit races(with good results).You need to be at the top of your game with a proven record to compete!
