Best advice I’ve gotten was to put old clothes in a box and really stuff it as full as possible and duct tape it. Stops my arrows out of 400 fps crossbow. Might be worth buying this though and when it messes up like people on Amazon say I can use this to stuff in a box by itself or with old clothes to make it better. Getting tired of duct taping every time the box rips and busts out the side lol
I might get this! I have 2 targets now, a third would be handy. I like the lawn chair idea, it's simple, it works and easy to move when you're done shooting.
Funny you post a video about targets I was just shopping for a new one last night. I’m gonna start my arrow building and nock tuning project soon but my bag is pretty shot out!
Great information as usual Matthew! I'm really impressed because a friend of mine has spent over $300 on two targets to catch his Killer Instinct bolts. I recently shot some SIRIUS Phoenix bolts (bought them based on your success & recommendation), but even at 500 grains, I was burying them to the fletch! I'm going to have to get one of these targets for sure! Now to find an inexpensive broadhead target that can last more than on season! Thanks for sharing!
I do most of my practicing with th same broadheads that I hunt with. I therefore t use the foam broadhead targets. These tend to get shot out quickly so I end up with layers of closed cell insulating styrofoam behind to prevent pass thoughs.
Good info, I recently replaced my shot out yellow jacket 425 with a new one but the slightly smaller speed bag at 20 bucks less would make a nice addition to my backyard range. I’m currently engineering a broad head target out of layered cardboard as foam targets are expensive and need replacing all too often. 👀
I bought the Bone Collector 300 from Walmart for $30. It stops my 456gn arrows at 360fps out of my crossbow, very well. I think I got a really good target for the price.
I found it helps to compress the bag, then pull arrows out. Put the bag so the arrow is pointing straight up, put a knee into it, then pull your arrow out.
@draggindeeroutdoors it got a little better after I pulled that tarp out. Still don't come out easy but that tarp was melting on to the field points. Just got a new R500 so that target is going to be unused now and waiting I'll have the new target tomorrow
Looks like a pretty good target at that price. 'Course only time will tell how well it stands up to time. Nice review
Thanks, Jim. Initial performance seems as advertised, we'll see how long it lasts.

Good stuff! Thanks for sharing that!
Was the extraction easy?
Easy, no issues!

Glad you found the video helpful!

Glad you found this help! Good luck with your arrow building, hopefully this target works for you too!

Yeah…it’s hard to not beat up the broadhead targets. Thanks for watching, Robert!
Good simple video! How about testing an economical broadhead target?
Great suggestion!

Sounds like a good deal to me!
I've got one in my amazon cart right now but wanted to get a hunter or crossbow shooters input on it. Thanks
You’re welcome! Still no complaints with mine!
That’s great how easy did the aero pull out
Arrow removal was easy, no issues!
I got a delta speed bag for my fatal x and it refuses to let go of bolts. Mine had a bunch of old blankets and a used tarp in it. Hate it

dumb question, but if this works for crossbows it should work even better for a 350fps compound bow, right?
For sure!
And now, 5 months later, are you still happy with this target?
Yessir! Still performing well!
