Tim, Great video! I love how much detail you put in with out any BS. It sounds like you really like the way the Mac looks on the monitor. I've got a 32" BENQ 2K monitor and love it but really can't stand to be able to see individual pixels on the screen. Especially the TXT. I use the monitor to do CAD for work so I want to really sharpen up my resolution. Will this monitor deliver for me? Also, Does the stand have an option to drill a hole in my desk and use that stand? The edges of my desk probably won't allow the clamping. Thanks!!!!

But with only fhd display isn't samsungs monitor better. Rest of the specs are almost the same.but a fhd display for 32 inch monitor??

I just bought the LG 32UN880 last month for $549 and have seen it vary in price, as low as $499. That IPS panel is WAY better than this VA panel. Brighter, HDR10, IPS, etc. Better in every respect unless you absolutely need the "Smart" apps built into your monitor, which seems like a bad idea to me.
Unless you plan to recycle it as spare bedroom tv in the future like me.

Thank you for the review. Can you check if the Game Mode has an Ultrawide option like the M8? Other than the lower brightness, this looks so much better than the Samsung m8. Tizen OS is terrible, and the smart features only work half the time
Interesting history: webOS was developed by mobile phone company Palm, was later sold to HP, then languished for a few years, before making its way to LG as a TV operating system.

I bought this display and connected it to my macbook pro M1 Pro and it doesn't shot 60 Hz refresh. only 30 and lower, tried over multiple hdmi and usb c cables. Any ideas?

VA panel seems like a miss, I have my LG IPS 27 UN monitor would not change it for this mainly because of the VA panel. love the stand though ...
are the letter blurry on the screen? cause on some external monitors when connected from a mac, the text are blurry :(

Is this also VESA mount compatible? I can't tell if that was 4 screw holes.

The monitor is slow compared to all other monitors with same specs due to Web OS (Smart), if you are looking to buy a monitor to function as a TV more then its good.
The speakers do not have base but the volume is extremely nice.
It is a VA panel display and not IPS.
I think the brightness is high even though specs-wise it is low. I tend to work in an environment that has 'curtains on' level light, and it is too bright in that situation even when I set the brightness of the monitor to 0.
Also, in the RUclips app, you cannot type using your mobile. Mobile Keyboard is not supported for some apps, so you will need to type using magic remote.
I will not recommend this for daily 9-5 work or gaming, but only for TV-like purposes or some light work that does not require speed typing or clicking.
I am returning this just to replace it for same specs without Web OS but with IPS Display.
Probably buy 32un880 or 32bn880u.

Did you use a thunderbolt cable? Regardless of cable or PC/Mac connection, mine provides power, but doesn’t have a signal.

Who are the target audience for this kind of monitor? Is it a monitor for watching stuff, or for gaming, or a work monitor, or is it like a good secondary monitor but not aimed to be your main one?
It’s a smart monitor so I am assuming it’s mainly for streaming and everyday work. Probably not best suited for gaming

I'd rather have 250 nits in my hair than have a monitor at this price with 250 nits max brightness.

the stand is sloppy. i like my monitors nicely aligned with table. Lenovo makes the best monitors imo.
