Jess is the reason I got in to journaling and, while my swatch section looks nowhere this clean or organized, I also followed her lead and created a long term journal with the pens/paints/inks going from the last page -> inward. One of my 2025 "To-Do's" is to remake the pages by colour. My markers (if they didn't come in a carry case) are stored in dollar store pencil cases, by colour family (pinks/oranges/reds, purples/blues/greys, greens/browns/yellows), but still swatched out by brand. I'll find myself flipping through 3 pages to collect multiple possible pens that get swatched together on scrap paper from when I had weekly dutch doors last year, then selected. It will be great having those similar colours on one page. 🥰 I even picked up a small painters palate stamp set I'm thinking of using to frame each marker swatch. 🤔
I have been dabbling with my swatching. I think I am going to migrate them to a Neapolitan notebook next. I have one I got as a mystery journal and haven’t had the use for it, but after watching this , Jess you gave me the idea. Thanks.
I use that annoying back page facing the back cover in the notebook and added a pocket and made swatch bookmarks for my most used supplies that I can transfer between journals.

Wonderful video for swatching - thank you for a few great ideas to get started.
That paint roller trick is sick and I'm definitely going to start using that
