Girl Born Same Day as Scarlet Macaw Hatched

The parents of this child in Gracias, Lempira, Honduras named their child after the first wild scarlet macaw chick hatched on land that they protect. It was also the day that Selva Maria Celaque was born. Here she enjoys the macaws who come to her home every day, cared for by her family and the other project participants who are led by Mapance (Video by Angela Mejia).
