Yes, she's literally the only thing on MSNBC I care about watching (not to say the other programs lack merit, just aren't where I throw my own time when I have so many choices)... the other host just doesn't have her tenacity and wit or stunning knowledge base (few do have the knowledge she comes to every segment with, though-she's a perfect display of always-preparedness in journalism, so her interviews aren't just mindless goop/flattery/vague crap said 100x like so many programs that repeat the same info as what the last 6 hours of TV talked about with only 5% difference which feels too much like middle school and high school classes lol).

While market rates dictates pay for the common employee, the pay for the "top rungs" is set by the board of directors. That there is a conflict of interest involved, the CEO of one company is on the board of another company whose CEO is on the board of the first CEO, doesn't seem to matter to most.

the vote was the execution of democracy you peanut.
Initially you probably will not see alot of republican consensus with democrats but after the new Congress is sworn in you will see more and more seperation from the gop in regards to maga-aligned membership. Those individuals will be marginalized but do not forget that some of those House members and a few Senators are still not off the hook concerning legal entanglement over the January 6th inserection in which some of them were directly involved. If the House does not move towards inacting provisions under the 14th admendment the DOJ probably has enough evidence to pursue criminal charges. So as it stands right now the House majority will have a precarious advantage that very well dissappear in the coming months

Hello Ireland, USA democracy is in trouble. Democracy cannot survive with a class of billionaires that pay 3% taxes. The working class pays 18% - 20%. We don't have a medical system and hospitals are starting to refuse to take people (mainly seniors) who are on Medicare. We have a psychopath Trump who has changed the Republican party into a Fascist party. Education stopped being funded in 1970 and is now unaffordable to most people. USA 🇺🇸 is not in good shape 😕

Another variable that never or hardly gets discussed is the impact that Covid has had in the red states. The right have suffered from far more Covid deaths and I honestly believe it has been enough to tip the scales in many places.
