I am from Adana and we never eat Adana kebab outside of Adana. Believe it or not you cannot find real Adana Kebab outside of Adana. It is even patented and there is no onion in Adana Kebab. Honestly we also never use pepper paste in Adana Kebab. Real Adana kebab which is honestly the best uses paprika instead. It only has those finely chopped, squeezed and drained red peppers, paprika and salt. That is it. I just ended up watching this video because I was going to make Adana Kebab for my channel. real Adana Kebab. Then I saw a Pakistani Lady made it and got 300.000 views. She called it Adana Kabab but it has nothing to do with it. However She also accepts that she made it up to fit into Urdu Culture with tons of spices. Then I saw this video. It is close but not exactly the same. I made it in New York City last year for my family because of my longing for real Adana Kebab. My family told me that it was just like when we had it in Adana 3 years ago at a restaurant. Anyway. Sorry for the long reply. Tomorrow I am shooting a video for Vegan Chicken made with Jackfruit and Baked cabbage rolls. Those will be this weeks recipes. Next week I will make Adana Kebab.
