Lucy feels and brings emotion into every syllable of every word she sings. Her incredible talent and gorgeous voice are out of this world! Lucy is definitely something special.
Very famous song from someone who sings it perfectly and I’ve heard many singers sing this! Ace, I loved your physical reaction to this performance . Great work!
Such a sad, moving song that Lucy was stunning singing. She is so good! It is sung by the character Fantine in Les Miserables. Fantine fell in love with a sailor who went back to sea and she never saw him again. In the song, she clearly thought that he would return and marry her. As an unmarried pregnant woman, she was fired from her factory job and turned to prostitution, selling her hair, and even her teeth. She sings this song as she is dying from starvation spending all of her money to support her baby. I cried when I watched this the first time watching the sadness that Lucy emotes. Despite having heard it many times, I cried when she sang it in London on 22 October 2024. Nobody sings as well as does Lucy. A duo (two performers) sing a duet (a piece of music for two). Thank you for your fine reaction. Many have difficulty discussing this powerful song.
"So stunning its terrifying" - LOL I think that applies here. This is a Masterpiece by Lucy - so sad and beautiful! She absolutely makes you feel it. Great reaction Ace! Happy New Year
Hello Ace, " I Dreamed A Dream " by Lucy Thomas, Lucy sings this famous song from the musical Les Mis, for me it is her best cover to date, she puts every emotion there is into this sad musical song, as you say Ace Lucy is just getting better & better, her beautiful voice is now just so powerful. This is a great reaction Ace, do have a happy New Year, Barbara.
Heard this so many times but it still gives me the shivers!,Lucy is simply world class!.also Lucy & Martha's rendition of 'Silent night is approaching 2 million views having been released on the 4th Dec.By the way the word is duo!.😊
Ace, I hope you will do this. You will either make the end of my 2024 great, or start my 2025 out, the best way possible. You have listened to both Karen Carpenter and Miss Ella Fitzgerald. My wish is that you will react to a Variety Show, that aired on tv in 1983. The clip I'm referring to is Karen and Miss Ella singing a beautiful medley of songs, together. Watching it when it first aired, I thought it was a beautiful way for Miss Ella to pass the torch to the next amazing female vocalist. I still believe that was the intention of putting them together, on that stage. It was truly a beautiful production. Unfortunately, Karen would pass away before the end of that year. Miss Ella was in her 70s, at the time the show was aired. She was with us for another 12 years or so. You would make me very happy, if you would share this with all of us that follow you. Thank You, in advance. Oh, just search for "their names" and " the word medley".
Great reaction Ace! Stunning, just stunning! Chills, goosebumps and trembles! Please do not hesitate to play and react to some of Lucy's earlier performances. Even at a younger age, Lucy’s voice was already mature beyond her years and absolutely stunning. Please play and react to Lucy’s breathtaking performances of: “LISTEN”; ruclips.net/video/-fGe8Z4uLWE/видео.html At just turned 15, Lucy had the mature, passionate, and powerful voice of an adult diva. And “I’LL NEVER LOVE AGAIN"; ruclips.net/video/4g1Qpu9XPL8/видео.html At only age 15, Lucy’s emotional and powerful performance was even better the original. I promise you will be blown away. Enjoy! Cool. I've got Anne Hathaway's version of this from the Les Miserable film on one of my playlists. But the song is a hard listen when you know the story behind it. I find her rendition of the song, with tears in her eyes and her voice cracking at times, more authentic than the prettified orchestrated grand finale style versions like this one. Lucy Thomas sings the song as well as anyone. Her voice reminds me somewhat of Barbra Streisand. Also, when two people, a duo, sing a song together its called a duet.

Just when you think Lucy's singing is perfect, and can't get even better - it does! This is close to being in Heaven!
