Brand new silver stacker, here. I just started within the last month, and also started this RUclips channel along the way, to show someone starting from scratch. I appreciate all your information! Thank you!
Good advice. The only thing I don’t like is possibly keeping your stack at the bank in a vault. I don’t like the idea of not having 24 hr access to my stack. Nights, weekends, and holidays you are SOL, and even in a SHFT, situation, the banks shut down and out of luck.
especially an LGS in these times, my LGS does coins as well so its awesome having my stacking all in one place one day its "hey I got a box of 223 and some Morgans"
I absolutely LOVE your channel. I just recently started my stacking journey and your channel is the first one that I came across and I have learned so much. Keep doing what you're doing. Thanks!
#1 silver is undervalued #2 if you build your stack it is an asset nobody knows about(will not devalue as fiat does)#3 silver and gold ,historically, have always gone higher #4 it is a small hedge versus 401ks and other retirement plans that can be taken away or partially taken away #5 silver is a goal(you may choose to give up on unneeded to build your stack #6 silver is cool
401K account can fold, if the company holding it folds. AIG, in the last recession was holding 60% of the retirement plans of the USA. That is why they HAD to be bailed out.It was not all 'For the banksters'. Much was for Joe 6-packs retirement. I worked for Gm, and my checks have kept on coming w/o interruption.
Another way to look at "Keep it secrete, keep it safe." By telling others you have bullion you just automatically made THEM a potential suspect if something goes sour. I'd prefer not to know that type of information. Good videos SD for sure.
25 years long term ! Long term stacker and will sell some if i have doubles ! Also gold ! The most liquid ! Silver i collect ,stack and have slabs ,poured etc ! Keep topping up by date popularity and some series ! Australia here !
Im prety new to the stacker scene, only a few months. An i find ur content very informative. Not just how to collect but how to understand why ur buying an how much to spend. SCRIBBLED
My first stack-Cash, my second stack-Gold, my third stack-Silver, chronologically speaking. My silver stack is roughly 80%~90% bullion 10%~20% semi-numismatics. What I usually do is to get 1oz or 2oz of semi-numismatics i.e. silver koalas or pandas for every 8oz or 9oz of bullion. I do keep all my receipts. I guess I need to start a stocktake soon to get a more accurate cost average figure of my silver stack. Great video, Silver Dragons especially on the part on taking it slow with acquisition, I find silver stacking very addictive, as I much as I dislike my fiat stack, it has to be largest stack for day to day and emergency expenses and of course, for buying more silver. This is something I have to remind myself all the time to keep myself in check.
Stack like a pro... yeah..💥 Great tips.. here's mine.. Especially in EU.. rather than buying say 15oz a month every month and having them shipped. Buy 15ozs and store it and add every month to it till it 45 or 60 ozs then ship as then you only pay one shipping cost. No shippings ever free also. Plus its €29 euros so you save at least €58 euros if you ship 45oz once. 29÷15= €1.93 per oz 29÷45 = £0.64 per oz 29÷60 = €0.48 per oz that's where i wanna be under 50c per coin shipping. Plus also if i buy 45ozs in one go i get shipping for €22 which under 50c at 45ozs..That imo stacking like a pro..on a non pro budget... Thx for sharing always great info..
@@jaddy540 wise although have heard that some now charging state sales tax if you don't buy enough to be exempt from it think. Over $1000 some like apmex $1500 hitting the small stacker collector.. In uk there tax on silver 20% and i can buy from eu at 7% you gotta find every angle to make it work.
Wile I was watching I just realized that the majority of the preppers that stack silver rarely include any in their smaller "quick ditch" bags. Even my baby bear bag has a few ounces of junk silver dimes with more in the more complete back packs and then the main stack. Probably never use any of it. But, I feel more comfortable having it!
Yeah I agree my stacking is mainly a savings for a hedge against inflation for sure! And I have a awesome friendship with my LCS he’s always giving me deals! Great advice & thanks for sharing I enjoyed watching
What you just said about friending the LCS is spot on, reason I say this is "they can/will call you or put back certain things your looking for, I don't buy from the expensive bullion dealers and try 2 stay away from them🇺🇸💰🇺🇸💰🇺🇸
great video. 7 great tips. people should really think it through early on. the sooner you follow the best path, the sooner you get where you are trying to go. tip #8. know where you are trying to go.
I would suggest going into platinum before gold, platinum is a great deal right now and it usually moves a year behind rhodium which just exploded to 10k per ounce
Nice!!! I haven’t bought over $16 an oz. I keep track of everything I bought and sold and my cost per oz is around $12.31. It is so low because I flip some things and I find a bit crh. I am planning on getting some ase from provident metal. Great video I want to hold my silver until it ether goes to 30+ per oz and I will sell some of it and keep some of it. I want to keep all my coins and some bullion to pass onto my kids one day.
Going along with keeping a savings account for emergencies. #11 Don’t turn down free money: if your job offers a 401(k) with a match (like they give 3% of your salary if you put in 6%), do that first! It is the easiest 50% return you’ll ever get. Imagine every ounce of silver you bought at $15 suddenly becomes $22.50 right after you bought it. People would go nuts buying silver. Same idea with 401(k), it just takes you longer to reap the benefits, but it is HUGE!
For Years I Just Collected Old Coins But As I Got Older And More Experienced I Started Collecting Mint And Proof Sets Because I Feel If I Ever Had To Sell I Got A Better Chance Of Getting Some Good Money Back !!
Mint & proof sets are a mistake, you want to stack on pure value of silver alone. Mint & proof coins have a rarity value over the intrinsic metal value which varies with the economy, in good times the rarity value will go up but as the economy tightens and the intrinsic value rises the rarity value will fall. Do your research - in the UK stack silver Britannias as they are free of capital gains tax, other countries may have similar breaks.
100% true. Know your local dealers this includes LCS and frequent show dealers. I have gained so many deal and sold at great prices just by simply know them by name. It doesn't hurt also to stop by your LCS and bring them a dozen of donuts, once in awhile.
when you say you track your purchases and keep a count of how much you have and how much you paid, are including the cost of shipping with any silver that you buy online?
wish I could buy more than an ounce a week but slow and steady does build it up quick, should have a LCS and a gun shop the best of both worlds is an awesome pawnshop dealer always hitting me up when he gets new coins and a box of ammo.
I cant help but stare at the quarters in the top and as a US resident my mind keeps telling me those are SUPER BIG quarters. However, the other part of me is saying everything on this table is hella tiny compared to that quarter lol. damn mind playing tricks.

Have to do a better job myself of keeping track of my purchases. have all of my receipts but have not cataloged my buy's. try to keep a pace, then Speg's throws up a new purchase available and I purchased the US Mint release of the Pride of two nations. Lol, all good but didn't factor in that one for the week. Stay within your Budget and monthly goals! Happy Stacking boy's and Girls! Cheers!
Most of my S.A.Es are in flips or capsules and I'm running out of space in my safe so my question is do silver eagles get scratched in those tubes? I don't have enough to fill each tube with all the same date but i do have enough to fill a couple tubes with mixed dates should i put them in tubes?
I personally wouldnt purchase gold with cash, I would wait until the ratio is around 45:1 and trade in a good chunk of my silver in. Thats just how I would do it.
Question, I'm selling my home after being there 3 years because I will have ove 300k afterwards. I just plan to rent for now. buy if I want to go ahead an turn a large portion of those profits into precious metal. if one is going to go after a large amount of gld/slvr, how do you recommend that be done? still spread it out? all at one lcs?
Buy low and keep it happening for this old non pro. I just keep at it. Good post though my friend. Keeping a good inventory is my biggest problem.Esp with the amount of poured I have in storage. Bad me eh.

silver spot will never again go below $14 because that’s what it costs to dig it out the ground and refine it. anything below that and it wouldn’t be cost effective for the mining companies to stay in business.
Hey there. Thanks for the great advise. I noticed the super high relief loin round you were holding. Do you recall where it was minted or the name? That is pretty spiffy. Regards from OdySlim.
I'm fairly new to stacking p.m. but I do keep track and cost but cost is not per pc its total. I need to track price by pc to have a better idea of cost instead of how I do now.
Pro tip #8: If you are into junk silver make friends with your local bank teller. Mine has my cell number and texts me when someone brings in their coins for cash. I have gotten rolls of 90% halves and much more this way all at face value. You can stop in at the end of their business day before they balance out their drawer and swap your coins for their silver as well. I do not use my safety deposit box for storing any PM.
At this stage ASE are a good buy at 2$ over spot,,,,the last 6months Constitutional silver with ebay bucks at spot was a steel you have to play the premium price game and be smart
You're better off to dollar-cost-average into Gold and set a goal of buying 1, 2, or however many 1/10th oz coins sound good to you each year regardless of price. Given that Gold could end up being $5,000/oz or even $25,000/oz within the next 10 or 20 years, I don't think you're going to be complaining about buying when Gold was at $1,400/oz. I keep track of my stack, but I dollar-cost-average, so I automatically end up buying more Silver when prices are low and I automatically buy less Silver as the Silver price gets higher. I just use the same amount of money each time, and it keeps my average per oz. low.
Im about to buy my first 10 ASE but silver will not stop going up! Im saving so i can buy this weekend. As you said, so long as silver doesnt go past $17, i should still buy yes?
@@johncorona922 I'm actually doing well buying ASE on ebay. I'm getting them for on average of $1.10 over spot. It's crazy. This seller I have purchased from before.
Hello have you ever ordered anything from lpm lpm group limited? There a coin I want to get and they're the only ones who have them in stock all the US dealers are sold out of the 2018 Great Britain Two Dragons 1 OZ Gold Coin but I'm worried because its a Chinese company and I've heard many stories of people buying fake gold from china companies.
Junk silver is a very bad deal (at least here in Canada). If you buy bullion silver they buy it back at or around spot. They buy junk silver at 75% of spot. It’s a terrible deal for the money. I love quarter/dime/constitutional silver, it’s really cool with all the history and variety, but it’s not a real investment.

I just use the same amount of money each time, and it keeps my average per oz. low.
The 1/10ths are also good for liquidity so you can sell off your stack in portions as you need to.
veritasfiles it’s always a great idea to diversify I agree 👍🏽 also platinum might move back into the auto industry so it’s something to look into 🔥🐉
Im about to buy my first 10 ASE but silver will not stop going up! Im saving so i can buy this weekend. As you said, so long as silver doesnt go past $17, i should still buy yes?
Optimus Locust TBH under $20 is still a good deal in my book! yes under $17 is ok to buy and i’ll be picking up more as well 🔥🐉
Eagles are only .9163 of gold. I stopped buying them because of the reason I'm buying maples and queen beast
@@johncorona922 I'm actually doing well buying ASE on ebay. I'm getting them for on average of $1.10 over spot. It's crazy. This seller I have purchased from before.
@@raginggamer2109 that's a great price! Is that for a 1/10oz?
@@johncorona922 nope. Off ebay. 1 oz ASE. I always watch the ending soonest. Free shipping etc. I can prove it.
Hello have you ever ordered anything from lpm lpm group limited? There a coin I want to get and they're the only ones who have them in stock all the US dealers are sold out of the 2018 Great Britain Two Dragons 1 OZ Gold Coin but I'm worried because its a Chinese company and I've heard many stories of people buying fake gold from china companies.
kauaiboy8081 never bought from them 🤷🏽♂️ I never recommend buying anything that ships from China 🔥🐉
I am from the future try $29 an ounce 2020
Junk silver is a very bad deal (at least here in Canada). If you buy bullion silver they buy it back at or around spot. They buy junk silver at 75% of spot. It’s a terrible deal for the money. I love quarter/dime/constitutional silver, it’s really cool with all the history and variety, but it’s not a real investment.
