- Опубликовано: 21 июл 2024
- In this video I talk about the #1 silver stacking mistake that you can make! I do talk about a few other silver stacking mistakes as well. Some of the other silver stacking mistakes include stacking too fast, stacking the wrong thing, and handling your silver improperly. You will have to watch the video to hear the biggest silver stacking mistake that silver stackers can make. I have been stacking silver for a while now and I cannot stress enough how important this silver stacking tip is. This video is more directed at newer silver stackers, but even veteran silver stackers need to make sure that they are not making this worst silver stacking mistake as well.

First rule of silver club... Don't tell anyone about silver club!
“Loose lips, sink ships”
I wouldn’t openly tell folks about the food/water reserves or firearms that one may have.
Todd Beasley yes 100% 😂🔥🐉
I think that’s why we like these yt vids like a place to share without threat of getting robbed.
@Gold Stacking Have you ever played broken telephone? If someone hears you have precious metals there is no guarantee that they will pay attention to the detail that you don't have it at home. All the criminal knows is you have money and where you live. Worst, if you don't have it at home but the criminal KNOWS you own it, he may be thinking you are lying and may hurt you or your family until you tell him where your treasure is. Because you don't have it at home, this won't end well.
I started with junk silver. When my stack was comfortable, I started gravitating to new silver eagles, foreign coins, and rounds that appealed to me. I keep some select ones on display. The bulk of it was lost in an "unfortunate boating accident".
Another is don't panic with price, be patience the price fluctuates around.
Great advice!
Leigh Thomas yes for sure! all stackers will learn patience over time or they will quit 😏🔥🐉
Gotta cost average
I am definitely a novice stacker, I had about 10 ounces at the beginning of this year and I got that up to around 200 ounces since July. I guess it's time to move my stack out of my sock drawer lol.
john messina funny you say that about your sock draw my grandfather had his silver stack stolen except for the sock draw silver stashed in his socks hidden under dirty underwear
Lol I'm right there with you. I'm going to buy a safe this month
I personally am going to build some furniture with hidden compartments. Most safes under $500 can be busted open in 10 seconds with a hammer and pry bar. #SecurityThroughObscurity
Buy a safe brother!
@@JakeSmith-wj1xy what if you buy a safe and build a piece of furniture around it so the safe is hidden
"The guy that keeps silver in a shoe box in his closet"
Felt extremely related on that one
My rookies mistake was mixing up stacking and collecting. I looked up one day and I had more collector pieces then eagles lol
NorthWest_Staker 😂😂😂 we all do it when starting I think... get it out of your system then grind 🔥🐉
Silver Dragons you are doing so well with your video’s! Silver Stacking Mistakes is very important for the you tube community friends! Thank you for sharing, I will remember you including our Veterans! Keep Up the a Good Work!! Nice Silver too! V

Oh man, I got a cliffhanger here! The number one stacking mistake is ... a commercial.😂 OK, it was a very brief interruption; I watched it in support of your channel. Excellent tips, Silver Dragons.😁👍💛

I'm a rookie...I just started this past month..thanks for the help
Townie Stacker you are welcome my friend and thanks for the support! 🔥🐉
Thanks to you, I started stacking this year(11/2021). Late to the party but i just got a roll of eagles at 27.5 per coin. Which isn’t great relative to your stack, but is amazing considering premiums right now.
It's hard to avoid that mistake. I'm just glad spot wasn't too high when I started stacking
Silver Bean Counter it is hard but the error can be mitigated I believe with good storage... I am also happy for the $14 spot price when I started 👍🏽🔥🐉
Silver Dragon - With those Silver Legos, do you ever get the urge to build a house out of them?
or better yet.. build a silver lego vault, and put a sleeve of Eagles inside it! How cool is that?!

Telling friends about stack ⚠️
Telling 9000 subs about stack 👍
It’s a weird world.
Did you notice he didn't show his face or tell his name ? He is anonymous on all of his videos, so he didn't "tell 9000 subs about his stuck", actually he mentioned that in the end of the video.
It's a weird comment.
It’s a social commentary comment. Not about the anonymous Silver Dragons at all 🐉 🔥

Quick Silver lol don’t you wanna just shout it from the mountain tops 😂😂😂. thanks so much my friend 👍🏽🔥🐉
Missed one. Culled Silver Eagles are not BU silver eagles at resale in the future. Many local coin stores or LCS do not buy culled silver eagles but that will vary from store to store.
Good video, It is sooooo...... difficult not to share with other people as I don't want them to miss out. Greetings from SA
Jan Lubbinge I know it’s true... you can always talk about the subject but not disclose your personal stack 🔥🐉
Well done on the Aztec round looks great!
Indeed! I watched his antique tutorial afterwards I think I'm going to make one myself.
yeah, that thing looks way better than they do new. I've been thinking about getting one. I think I'm going to have to get one now and antique it up
@@johnm1008 I just antiqued an 1 ouncer, I followed his tutorial and it turned out great!
Cory W thanks that was a fun project 😁🔥🐉
How about the Egyptian rounds, coins n bars. They look great w the antiquity look..!
My first purchase was a single 2 oz silver .308 round. Not planning to stack more rounds or sell the first one since it's fun to display and handle.
That Aztec calendar is sweet! Where do you get one of those?
Dude you antiqued that Aztec coin yourself? It looks beautiful you did a great job.
I have been stacking for my grandchildren. I buy them to enjoy while I am alive, and it doesn't matter about price because it is 100% profit for my little ones.
In total agreement
Good information. Thanks Dragons
Mossman 52 thank you so much my friend! 🔥🐉
Can I get some advice on keeping sliver in an unlined safe by unlined I mean just a metal safe with no lining
Im looking at making my next purchase soon cant decide if I want a 10 oz silver bar or a 5 gram gold bar
i love the "silverdragons" at the end of the vid meme... dont ever change.
So true , it would be terrible to lose everything you worked so hard to stack.
I can't imagine this... whenever i buy my first house im going to make sure I have a fireproof safe.
Rodney's Next Chapter yes for sure! I have heard it happen to others 🔥🐉
Never seen silver leggos before. Pretty cool ! Appreciate your advice.
I see you holding silver without gloves. With bullion, does this make difference or not? I would think that with bullion, even Eagles, should not make a difference. Your advice is appreciated.
Very solid advice my friend
Budget Bullion Stacker thanks so much! 🔥🐉
That is the best advice. Telling other people about your stack. Huge mistake.
Thanks for the reminder. Posted my first bullion I got awhile ago on my Instagram story but haven’t posted anything since. Even though it’s kept in a 300lbs+ safe and I live down the street from police headquarters. You never know how low someone will go even close friends and family unfortunately.
I started bout year ago had almost 30 oz and sold it off because I needed cash. Right after that price jumped and it killed me! Now I'm back to about 20 oz. I'm still learning...
Are silver maple leafs and silver Britannias good for stacking?
Homeowner and renter insurance doesn't cover bullion. I looked into it. I heard there is an affiliate of Lloyd's of London that does cover that but I'm sure you have to have quite an impressive stack (maybe in the six-figures) before they would even bother with you. Collector coins are covered but you would have to get them appraised.
Thanks for the tips...
So if you find the fun stuff but it isn't being sold at a premium, then it should be a good investment?
Perfectly poignant video, extremely accurate, concise and to the point. This is a great video for new stackers.
Silver Noob Thank you so much my friend 🔥🐉
My local dealer charges 3.50 premium for eagles, how much do dealers pay over spot when you sell eagles back on average?
Robert Mcgee that seems high to me 😬 mine pay me $1 back when I sell 🔥🐉
Good advice about keeping our mouths shut, I talk about it a bit at work so now I'm super paranoid
Great video!!

SalivateMetal yes for sure and thanks for watching Sal 👍🏽🔥🐉
For gold especially, you want to make sure you lift with your legs when stacking those 50 pound bars.
J.Howard J yeah you mean the 400 ounce gold bars? those are one of my favorites to stack but after I filled my safes with them I find myself wanting more... I started giving them away actually 🤷🏽♂️🔥🐉
What is the difference between bu silver eagles versus proof silver eagles
proof coins have a reflective mirror-like background and carry a higher premium because they're more for coin collectors than pure stackers
Dude, what about junk silver? I really like my Kennedy, Franklin, and Liberty halves!
Thx i took ur advice today was able to find scottsdale bars apriciate the advice...this was very informative was gunna waiste money on the lego. But rather buy poured Scottsdale any day or my favorite the brittania"but i do love the eagles as well but the premiums been crazy as of late
Having a reason to purchase every piece of silver you have (beautiful, history, liquidity, price....) budget have to rule what you spend.
Sterling Cannabis exactly 👍🏽 well said my friend 🔥🐉
Are US silver coins the only legal tender in the 10 states accepting silver as payment?
bbfreetube I honestly do not know. I do not live in one of those states 🔥🐉
The coin at the most right is cool, what’s it’s called
Do you recommend dealers. I live in Arkansas.
Hello, i just start to stack silver for 2 months. But, in my country (indonesia), silver bullion seller is very rare (only goverment mint) dan very expensive (it almost 40 dollar premium). Can you help me to find silver bullion seller reference which can ship to indonesia? Thanks in advance
Sjioen Talla I am not sure my friend 🤷🏽♂️ do you have a place you can buy it locally? 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 I think silver bullion investment still new in Indonesia, so you only can buy silver at goverment's mint store. I usually buy online in local seller but also has high premium over spot. If you ever heard dirham (silver coin in islamic currency), it is the common silver coin in indonesia. Btw thanks for the feedback
5:45 what do you mean antiqued it?
Neeman126 ruclips.net/video/gNvJ4apjDCc/видео.html 👍🏽🔥🐉
Cost averages always mentioned ... tho , no target , average cost suggestions.
Robert Casados TBH it doesn’t matter what your target is because silver is valued in ounces not dollars but that is getting thick in the weeds. Right now I would say keep it under $20 🔥🐉
#1 is why I stack coins over bars/rounds. Then I can just tell the very select few people I even talk to that I have a few coins. To them I have become a coin collector. That and the security system hidden through my house watching over the area where these coins reside.
Nathan Cordrey yes I think we all have used the coin collector smoke screen from time to time 😏🔥🐉
I think I'm that paranoid person you're talking about lol. You're right, people may not see those fingerprints when you sell in bulk, but it doesn't change the fact that fingerprint devalues the coin. I don't know about others, I certainly don't want to pay $20 for an ASE with either fingerprint, scratches or milk spot on it, but I also don't mind paying
Yea u might have inspired that part of the video lmao. Must of read ur other comment last week 😆
@@silverking8742 He's right, it's his silver he can do whatever he wants. I'm sure whoever buys my silver eagle would appreciate it though.
Eagle 47 you are not the first person to say it but I know lots of others are thinking it. thanks for bringing up a good point and like I always say it’s your stack so do whatever you want with it 👍🏽🔥🐉
What counts as a veteran stacker in everyone's opinion? Is it based on ounces or how long you have been stacking? Not really sure lol
Good question, haha!
venictos I would say both... def over 100 ounces and 1 year min 🤷🏽♂️🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 you should make a video on the different levels of being a stacker from noob to grand master! 😂
venictos lol that’s a good idea 😏
does the usa still make these liberty halfs? they put one dollar on it, but its 1 oz of silver which is worth like today 16-17. Dont understand why they put 1 dollar on it still.
they do not make the walking liberty half dollars anymore they make the American Silver Eagles which are 1 ounce of silver 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 alright but why do they put one dollar on the coin but its worth more than a dollar?
luke7137 it’s worth more because the price for silver is $17 per ounce. $1 is just the denomination which makes it a coin. 🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 Yep I understand that :P Just wondering why the U.S. Mint puts "one dollar" on the 1 oz silver coin. When its not one dollar. Like why not just put 1 oz silver and thats it. Thanks for the help :)
luke7137 it does also say 1 ounce of silver lol. that’s just what they decided to do in 1986 🤷🏽♂️🔥🐉
good advise.

Absolutely!
Fiat Destroyer you know it!! 🔥🐉
You want to buy as much at one time as you can. Most dealers charge you less the more you buy. I bought my three monster boxes all at the same time at $16. You save money buying bulk.
That Chad's 5 oz is lovely 👍
José Manuel Gómez Díaz Yes I love that one for sure!!! 👍🏽🔥🐉
The Bullets is why I get gold jewelry. It will hold value when I don't want it anymore or it breaks
Silver D'.. s. You rock! Time..n effort
Not sure why a Silver Maple would have less of a premium; if anything the premium should be higher since the purity of the silver is HIGHER than the Silver eagles. Personally I do not buy either, because paying a premium defeats the purpose of stacking. When hard times hit, do you really think the premium is going to be as high as it is now (or even exist). I see people bidding up silver 1 oz coins on online auctions all the time...usually $10 or more over spot for a silver Maple.... paying $28US or more for a bullion coin that is worth $18. Silver would have to skyrocket at least 50% for those guys just to break even! Sure the coins look pretty, so maybe by one to take one dates, and stick to recognizeable junk silver instead.
Canadian MGTOW ruclips.net/video/A88h-BMSOUY/видео.html
If everyone keeps it a secret then its tougher to attract more collectors. And more collectors means the prices go up
Ea Jordan it depends on if you are talking collecting or stacking 👍🏽🔥🐉
Don't fall for the "safe" will keep your metals safe. Nothing is unbeatable, all safety containers can be broken into.
Need to look at them as giving you "Time" purchase the best for how long it takes for fire to arrive, and also the best amount of time to make a burglary work to get into your container. All safes are is "How much time" do I need for this or that...
GunMetal AG you do make a good point which is why hopefully no one can find the “safe” 😏🔥🐉
Idk SD, those LEGO blocks are super stackable pieces. 😆
I bought a lot because I had 10 years to catch up lol
That’s good advice...

Wont you get more silver for you money buy buying half dollars instead of silver dollars?
I no longer stack silver. I’ve decided to corner the market in lead. Yes, lead. It has good heft, density and blocks x-rays. Lead is undervalued. Buy lead now!
February 2021 : silver is $27 an ounce , dealers are out of stock and premiums are a beech.
Get it now where you can

If only there was powder.
The number 1 mistake is not being honest with yourself about your stacking. At the end of the day, stacking is an investment. Too many people justify bad choices with their stacking, because they aren't honest. Or they critique others who make a different strategy than theirs.
I love the silver bullets! It keeps the werewolves away🤣
Coin Group of Minnesota yes it does 😁🔥🐉
@@SilverDragons47 🤣🤜
I thought silver canadian maples were sovereigns like silver eagles?
they are, that's why he said bullion coin and not bullion round
bullion just means that it's primarily for the metal and not the collectibility, unlike some coins that the mint makes which are explicitly for collectors
Wealth is Stealth
OurHeroXero yes 100% 👍🏽🔥🐉
silver stack goof: buying "silver" coins which are only 40 percent thinking they are 90 percent. YOu gotta read description very carefully. buying silver kennedy halfs which "start at 1964" go on to have 1965 & later which are 40 percent.
65-70 they are only 40%.
There's only one mistake that you can make if you're going to stay at silverand that is to stack anything except American silver eagles.I have foreign shop owners in my hometown that will not even buy a coin unless it is an American silver eagle they laugh at you

Ok wait-a-minute. Explain what you mean by a maple is “bullion” and an ase is a coin? I thought a maple was a coin. It says “5 dollars” on it lol.
So maybe we need a video on what’s considered “coin” and what’s considered straight bullion. Because I thought if it was government minted and had a denomination printed on it....
Cockroach Deloach it's a bullion coin... they both are
Maple and ASE are both bullion coins, Morgan and Peace dollar are considered collectibles and they are Numismatic Coins. Mishandling either coins will have negative impact on the value.
Cockroach Deloach some coins are bullion and some coins are collectibles. depends on price 🔥🐉
Maples are higher or the same premium here where I am in Canada. Also the maples are .9999 compared to the .999 Eagles, which is very, very, slightly less silver content(would only be noticeable when melting down 10,000 oz).
