Hey Zi, I want to say that I am really happy you are back. Your reviews and product choices are always interesting and not the general devices. Just wanted to say that because the lack of views and comments is not representative of the work you do! :)
Comparing color e-ink to an LCD screen for this device is obviously a no brainer. I think just having something that's not just black and gray is a nice change. Besides, what is more important on comics, the story and the associated drawings, or the color quality of an eReader screen? I vividly remember as a 60 something man, watching cartoons, TV shows, news on nothing but b/w screen television sets. When the first standard definition TV sets with color came out, they weren't much better than what you find on this device. For now, lightly colored screens are fine for me.
I have this device and I’ve found myself using the kobo Color more,on the Bigme the book covers are really unclear and washed out, compared to the kobo where the book covers are much clearer.so unfortunately the bigme spends more time in the drawer.
There is not at the moment. But knowing how responsive bigme tech support is, they could probably add a function like that in 2 weeks of contacting them. You could probably also use apps from Google Play to do something similar too
The color model lasts for one week maximum if you use it a few hours everyday to read a book. However, I can drain the battery in 7 hours if I'm using it. Browse the internet or try to play a simple game
I would say so yes. Just remember that the screen is darker than the Kindle oasis, so you need more light to see the screen if you do not turn on the backlight
First, when I wanna read BW Manga (and most Mangas are BW) tha I don't need a Color (Kalleido 3) eBook/eNote-Reader... And for Mangas too you only need 6,8" ... For (most of the) Comics on the other side you will need a 10,3" Color eNote-Reader. So, I really don't know, for what in the world anyone need a color eReader under 10 Inch? BTW: Comparing an e-ink Display with a LCD/OLED ist so far from "real comparing". 😂😂😂
@@eyhtwozed2606 The hardware design is poor. The back and buttons make noises with a slight touch, which makes it feel low-quality. The screen is dark without the front lights, and while it’s ok (not comparable to black/white) with the front light on, you have to charge it every day. The stylus can't hardly write a full clear word. and the picture presentation is so faint it’s sometimes barely visible. The software has a lot of bugs and often becomes unresponsive for a few seconds. On top of all that, customer service is very poor too.
@@leapsokha475 1. Poor hardware design: buttons and back make unnecessary noises with a light touch, and the material and quality feel cheap. 2. The stylus can't write a complete, clear word. 3. The screen is very dark, even with the front light, and it can't compete with black-and-white displays. Compared to other colored e-readers, the battery needs to be charged daily because the front light has to be on all the time. 4. The software is buggy, making obvious mistakes and often being unresponsive.

It does make a difference for color comics. It's not very nice looking on the eink compared to a regular LCD display

Are there default app / settings to turn it into a digital photo album?

Thanks for the review!
I’ve a question.
If it supports the Kindle app, I wonder. Does it support the Audible app?
I have the audible app installed. It works on the tablet.
Yes, is full android
Thanks for the review!!

i wonder this is a good kindle oasis replacement?

Apparently it support other pens so good luck it you don't like it or lose it :( Thier other devices can support any EMR lens.

i can buy used ipan mini for this price
Yes you can
You surely can, and keep charging it a few times a day
As a genuine buyer, I regret the purchase of the product. Not worth it.
Can you share the things that you regretted about this reader?

@@eyhtwozed2606I second this….
Why?
Yeah why?
The product is trashy, together with the low quality hardware, buggy software and poor customer service.
Not worth the money. 🤮
Care to elaborate?
