I'm glad you found one that you like.
very nice, i'm tempted. I like devices with a little vibrating buzz, my moms vibe has this feature but can't play games like this beauty.
They don’t have music because it keeps the bin/cue files smaller for ps1
I had this come in a few days ago got it in orange, works great. My only issue is that anbernic just released a Clamshell unit days later and would rather have something in that form. I definitely didn't need to buy this since i bought an Analogue pocket back in December. The price difference is massive especially since you can plug the RG28xx into an HDMI port and play on a big screen, which you can only do on a AP with a dock for another $50.
I would like to see you review the RG35XXSP
As a person (and there are many of us) who doesn’t like to add roms: how many ps1, DC, and advanced games come preloaded?
Realy been freaking me out lately.. I think of something & the next day your video is about the same subject! Just bought this 5 hours ago, even the same color as yours! Awesome video as always!!!
Stalker? 😂😂
I really have been having a lot of deja vu or whatever you want to call it lately. Anybody else experiencing this? Or am I going nuts ?!!😂
@@JankenChamp I was just joking around with you. Yes I have deja vu a lot as well
@@Woodwerker I did not take any offense. I appreciate your joke! I was just expanding on my thoughts.
@@JankenChamp you are defo going nuts :p
This reminds me of that whole thing of "is your mobile phone spying on you" and when you talk about something like a product you get nothing but adverts for that product.
While I sit on the fence with the whole Mobile Phone Spying debate what you are describing as deja vu is actually true where it concerns internet content.
For example if you searched for an Anbernic device in Google Search then there is a chance you will have video recommendations for that device in RUclips because your RUclips and Google account are the same and Google can track you, the sites you visit etc etc and this includes logging into your Google Account in the Chrome Browser itself.
Beyond that websites can track you using trackers embedded in them and lets be honest they are going to be google trackers and/or Microsoft as well as other major players in this field.
This is just an over simplified explanation as it is far more complex than this but you get the idea.
2.8 inch screen. What’s the point? Seriously I love the idea of handheld emulation but a screen that small is gameboy micro gimmicky. Too small to play on when there are so many amazing systems capable of much better displays and emulation performance.
It's not that small in person it actually perfect to me
@@TheRetroJester81 perfect for what though? More than a few minutes of an 8 bit game? And respectfully that not a knock against your taste or anything, I’m born in the 80s raised in the 90s. I’m just trying to imagine playing anything on this for more than a half an hour and it seems like it would be fun for a bit but old real quick. And please don’t let me influence your experience I just don’t get screens this tiny. Like a razor Motorola 😂
Yeah, I have the Anbernic RG35XX H with a 3.5" screen, and that is as small as I can tolerate.
@@SilentMott I'm 43 I love neogeo and SNES this plays them perfect. Plus Dreamcast fighting games run great. This does way more than 8 bit. Psp works as well.
I take it you hated the gameboy. I actually love that this is super portable. A lot of these handheld are too big and a pain to carry around.
Please review the one with thumbsticks mentioned in the video!
I don't need one of these, but dang if I'm not buying one now: the micro size + the GB theme makes it highly desirable to me. The price is cheap (even if it could be better) and the aesthetic alone hits me in the nostalgia spot.
So I'm guessing it can't do simple 720p. The price is good but if can't even do 720p it's not worth it. Or does the TV by default upscale 480p to 720p with a 4.3 ratio?
The handhelds coming with roms without music is likely due to them using ISO and not bin/cue or CHDs of bin cue files
Very interested in the Custom Firmware
Thanks M.L.P.
I came from Ron's A30 video and watching it first makes this 28XX look much better by comparison. I think these are in a weird market position though. I'd rather step down to an SF2K or step up to, IDK, literally anything else. The RG35XX-H isn't that much more in price; but, you get a lot more capability while still being very pocketable.
Very cool
I bought the translucent black one.😂🤣
Bought one, mine comes with N64 and NDS ... you can try updating your console
Did this game system have saga Splatter house game on it
I'm enjoying my neogeo cd on this thing and I love how DS emulation looks on here
Agree with you on neogeo but honestly, you lost me at DS simulation this screen is much too small to emulate both of the screens comfortably just the thought of reading my mind and I have 2020 vision
@@DarrellJones-ee7ok I have a degenerative issue with my left eye I'm going blind and honestly I have 0 issues with this screen . But people like what they like you know. I have a addiction to these things I will quit them cold turkey one day. But I have them all in pairs as well from steakdecks to this one syeamdeck switch and my odindsvalonh with razor edge are to big and expensive for me to take everywhere. The 405 v is to big to pocket I'm a case freak. All my systems are in a case. My favorite one before this one was the trimui s model. So I like the small ones now I get crams from my nano lol
@@DarrellJones-ee7ok oh I never use both screens I always just switch to one like Mario kart metal slug bleach games like those Chrono trigger
Clean build is a biggie for me. If it’s a hot mess I don’t want to deal with it.
Can't wait to play Super Mario Land on this!
Looks nice but those shoulder buttons are a disappointment indeed. If I didn't already own the PlayGo and the Retroid Pocket 2S would had gotten this one too.
Interesting.
That thing is tiny. Especially in Ron's hands
Not the only tiny thing he holds
im happy w/ my analogue pocket
What was the game with the bald kid? At 1:52?
Bonk's Adventure on TurboGrafx I think.
@@messiahmozgus thanks
Zoomer alert
@@kevinbbadd perfectly fine. I'm old but I never actually played Bonk or any TurboGrafx. Any young lads playing retro games should be applauded.
The screen is just too small.
MLP
Super Mario Land has been announced for NSO, u should make a vid about it
You can get the RG35xx h for less.
Werd!
Thank you so much mad, I must now get back ASAP on my own time whenever I feel like it, to using MistPlay and grinding out earning credentials from cashing out on units very fulfillingly, so I can purchase awesome emulator handhelds again like the one you're reviewing in this video!
gosh I miss the good old days as such, gives me a good excuse to do so now that I don't have to worried about my time consumptions and all that, thank you for this awesome retro handheld emulator device reference by the way mad little pixel, I look forward to getting maybe starting a collection of my own as well! 😎✌️😌🎮🫡
