I have seen a lot of streamers do these and he was one of the luckiest by far. Guy gets insanely lucky yet he still complains. Sadge.

this just reminds me how much people can care about crit, the max and min of the actual roll, and ho many times it rolls into what they want. hey, what about characters who scale on def or hp, or how about reaction based characters for em. also i count it a good piece if it has two good sub stats, and it rolls into what i want two or three times, i don't care if its the min or max of what it rolled, it rolled what i want, that's a win
Nothing is more frustrating in Genshin that when a piece has really good substats, like a 4 liner start with attack %, Er/Em, and Crit for like Raiden but because it has less that 35 crit value it's deemed "bad" by a vast majority of Genshin Players.

whenever the surveys come around I always ask for a better artifact system. The RNG ontop of RNG and RNG is just too much. I understand some RNG but the amount the artifact system is overwhelming. One of the main reasons I don't play as much anymore

If you farmed those many double crit artifacts and rolled many crits then your luck is above average. The last time I got shimenawa or emblem upgrade was few months ago in patch 2.4
like i prefarmed for yoi and the circlets and goblets are hard to drop. i got a atk goblet with perfect sub stats even tho it mid rolled into crit dmg and crit rate. my circlet is gone whenever i get a decent one that has a good main stat that isn’t def or has flat substats
The last time I got emblem upgrade was when i got it for Raiden for the first time ≈ 3-4 month ago(or when was her rerun?)
And I'm still rocking 4 star circlet

As a min maxer, I'm more annoyed with people worshipping crits & ignores the value of everything else, even though it's usually better than crits.
RV (roll value) is a more accurate method to calculate how good an artifact is, rather than CV (crit value).
I understand that it's part of being a content creator, but there are many people (both new & old players) that got mislead by CV slaves.
My point is, every rolls count, and since a lot of people only stack crits, they tend to deal less damage than they should've due to having extremely unbalanced stats.
Having 1000% crit damage is pointless if your attack is 0. Yes, Bennett exists, but every teams that doesn't rely on him (freeze, taser, morgana etc.) benefits more from ATK% (HP or DEF if Yelan/Itto/Noelle), EM & ER than CV. Not to mention that you MUST have 2 teams to clear the abyss, which is the only place where your artifact investment matters.
Yes, you don't need absolutely perfect pieces to clear abyss, but it will make clearing them a lot easier with a well balanced build.

@《 ♡ 애리 ♡ 》 if you dont care for spiral abyss, then your team doesnt matter. Play whatever you want. Although it is possible to clear abyss with whatever team you want, it will just take a lot of time and patience.

I actually got Yoimiya pieces way before I got her as I was farming for Raiden in 2.0. Fun fact. my Yoimiya has way better stats than my Raiden 🙃

I feel the pain, I'm new to this game and I've been farming Emblem for xiangling for about 2 weeks and only got her to 55cr/140cd ratio with 50ish EM, I wish I could aim for higher crit rate but my luck betrays me, maybe I just haven't farmed enough yet who knows

I'd like to just get crit rolls on the initial rng. I need to farm more wealth onto my account in general. But there are so many sets where I can't even warrant trading my tolerant artifacts for a better one because they tend to just be worse. I'm not foddering a lot of 4 star stuff because of it.
I thought once how to do the same basic artifacts but reduce half of the rng. Because I like the balance of main stats across the pieces. I never went through the numbers on how to make it viable without just making it cracked on power creep. But I thought it should work by the artifacts going up at specific ways based on where it is on the line up. Like the first substat will upgrade the most across the level ups, still at every 4th level. And then less rolls to the other slots based on where in the list it is too. And since everything rolls eventually, it uses the smaller roll rate unless it started with less substats, in which case it'll use the larger roll number on the inital one.

There’s a really weird law in Genshin where u just never get what u want. Like, I keep hearing complaints of people constantly getting cracked shimenawa pieces farming for emblem. Meanwhile I’m here farming Shimenawa and constantly getting cracked emblem pieces. Like fr I now have 4 emblem flowers all at 35+ cv. And 2 emblem feathers one at 33 cv and another at 40cv. All of that, and yet, I have never been able to get a double crit flower for my yoimiya.

Why do you delete possible 40CV artifact that are still at level 4 ?
Just get them to 8 or 12 even if it has only one crit stat and ER%...
I know the games are totally different outside of the gacha part of it but this reminds me of how stupid it is to try and invest in awakened or Z equipment with slot removers. Your esentially min maxing for 2 extra percent just so you get a yellow letter next to your equipment. S equipment have barley less stats but look less cool and you'll get clowned on despite the fact that at the end of the day the units base stats and player skill matter more than equipment.

How do you tell if it's a minimum roll?
2.7 is min crit rate roll, 5.4 is min crit dmg roll. 3.9 is max crit rate and 7.8 is max crit dmg. I just do the math lol
By the way, the Artifact System has literally 8 layers of RNG. This game should be illegal. I'm absolutely serious.
What I hear from this video is just: Complaining Complaining Complaining. Artifact rolling are part of every gacha game not just Genshin. If you're not into it then just focus on other part of the game like the story or exploring. I enjoy the artifact farming and RNG, it's what set old accounts apart from new accounts. Genshin is a game that mean to grow with you, not a game you finish in a weekend and never touch again.
