Yoimiya's Burst is what you use at the end of her Normal Attack spam. Burst then swap. Your team gets the Attack buff and will proc the occasional Vape or whatever with her Burst. It's just free damage for your Xingqui/Yelan/whoever. It's not big damage but free damage is free.

Raiden's skill will proc even at range as well, making her compatible. Yoimiya's attack boost after using her Burst and switching also benefits Raiden. It's a simple synergy. The two work well together.
Mihoyo after giving yoimiya ult atk boost for party members and also making an artifact that is for her only for it to take up half of yoimiya's ult energy and giving her atk buff got me thinking like "dude why?.....just why??"😂😂

She is, I lost her last last banner to Diluc and got her on the banner with Nahida instead, and I didn’t regret it, she helped me a lot and she’s still a character I love and use anytime I can.
Always nice to see someone come around to the power of Yoimiya. I skipped Ayaka's & Raiden's 1st banners to prioritize her, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Yun Jin coming out pushed her up a lot, but even from the start she was a solid DPS. Just not Hu Tao levels, which is a rather high bar to clear.
As a Yoimiya Main, that's so cool!!! Yoimiya doesn't need nothing of ER so u can chill abt that, abt the atk she needs around like +2,100, the EM is absolutely incredible and Crit Rate and Crit DMG is so damn cool with the Rust Weapon!

Shimenawa on Rosaria could realistically work! Since her skill has a pretty short cooldown, you'll basically have 100% uptime on that attack damage buff! Only downside is you can't reset the buff by casting her skill again in that 10 second timeframe (at least, that's what it seems like).

I love yoimiya, she's my first 5 star dps character that I pulled, I think she carry my account by a lot as F2P. I was saving for wanderer but I got 2 copy of rust from standard banner and I think it was a sign that I should pull for her during her previous rerun and I regret nothing from it. She's worth it. For now I'm waiting for Yelan rerun or at least the water boy and I'm pretty much good to go.

From what I have seen Rust with some refinements has very similar performace to Aqua Simuacra, so yeah she doesnt need a 5 star weapon to be cracked. Also slingshot is considerably weaker but still does good damage. Her burst I just use it for the immunity frames honestly, the should have done something better with it.

You are supposed to use the ult first, then go through the supports and by the time you get back to her, you will have some burst energy saved.

i would suggest adding bennet with an em sands to compensate for the low atk. you don't really need second hydro

r5 slingshot is actually better then rust if you use yoimiya with bennet and yun jin, or about equal to if you use bennet to make up for low base atk
