I switched to a fish paint from Makenzie Taxidermy Supplies in Burnt Umber. It's about a 90% match... U should give it a try..... Blue Line Skull Mounts from Va...... Keep up good work

Good job! You can also buy the minwax in a can and use a q tip.
Yes we do that as well on larger touch ups.
Do you seal the antlers with anything?
No. We do minor touch ups at the base, sometimes, but other than that the horns are not touched.

What is a good price when pricing European mount deer skulls?
If you do get stain on the white part, how do you go about getting it off?
Take a q-tip, dip it in peroxide cream, then dab it on the spot. Wipe off after a few hours. If it is alot you may have to rewhiten the whole head.
@@OurTopPinLife I don’t think it’s a lot. Just 1/8” to 1/4” around maybe 5% of the circumference of each base.

What to do with single shed. Have 5
