I liked the way the Bullworker was used as a bar saving money on expensive band sets that incorporate a bar. For me I would have probably dropped the Bicep,Tricep exercises as they have already been stimulated by the previous exercises. Overall this is a good full body routine.
Damn, these are great ideas: combining bullworker isometrics with resistance band stretches. I'm gonna try them all. The Bullworker is excellent, but some exercises seem aggravate my old rotator cuff injury.
Incidentally you always make me laugh in the morning, which puts me in a good mood for the day. That's worth a lot! Big thanks from the Pacific Northwest.
Great addition to the real German Koelbel X5 with the big round plastic handles vs. the modern US Bullworkers.
Great , and innovative , use of the fantastic Bullworker X 5 ....Resistance bands are very good for ligaments and tendons ....I find resistance bands are particularly beneficial in working the shoulders ....I also use resistance bands , isometrically ...The important thing to remember is to feel the exercise bite , or take , in the muscle group being worked ....don't just go through the motions. . Keep up these great Bullworker videos....Long live THE BULLWORKER .

I use a strap and bar for my isometrics as it's lighter ( 50 cm 30mm carbon fiber tube and a 5.5m nylon cargo strap ) i also like to separate my band and isometric training so I can fully focus on each but this looks like a great combo idea!
I’ve also incorporated the Bulgarian split squat using the resistance band, as the newer Bullworker has a smaller range of motion than the X5.

Question: Why do the Iso 1st and Bands 2nd instead of the other way round?
Isometrics increase motor unit recruitment, improve blood flow, and increase local muscular activity. For these reasons, I feel it’s best to use isometrics prior to the main movement.

I can still see a potential benefit from the weak spring on the new model. On my X5 the spring is very strong and I can’t compress it much on say the chest press exercise. That’s fine for an isometric hold but you’re not getting much movement in the isotonic work which I don’t think is as good. I just can’t afford the new model!!
Innovative use of the Bullworker. I too have noticed that the weaker spring must be used in the demos.
What’s your opinion on doing all the reps whist the Bullworker is attached to the band, then doing all the isometric exercises? Thanks again.
I don't think it makes much of a difference if you do the isometric hold before or after the full range reps.
