Thanks for the video. I had similar plugs from another manufacturer but not the original ones. The plugs are good, but the fake carbon fiber ring on some of them has come loose. When you tighten them, the ring turns with them. That's a bit stupid. But if the cables aren't thick enough for the plugs, I use a piece of transparent PVC tubing as a spacer. These tubings come in all imaginable sizes. Incidentally, after installation, they sit between the grub screw and the cable sheath and prevent the cable sheath from being damaged when the screw is tightened. The connection is rock solid and I let the PVC tubing protrude about 2 to 3 centimeters from the plug so that it also acts as a kink protection. Greetings from Germany, Michael
I bought fake Furutech banana and spade connectors, and they're a little better than I was expecting. As affordable connectors, they're fine. I'm sure they're nowhere close to the legit versions they're imitating.
Unfortunately no. But there's also another reason - some time ago I've tried to change connectors to see if I can hear any change, and to my ears there was none. I can hear differences coming from different cables, for good or bad, but not from the connectors. Which is good for my wallet :)
@@k4syxtry your speaker cables without connectors. That would be noticeable. My fresh experience: I removed just the spades from my speaker cable (amp side. At speaker side the bananas remained in their places) and this was clearly audible.
@rolkabolka I will. I've done such test a few years back and did not hear the different, but this was with regular speakers and not electrostats. It will be interesting to check it now!
Thanks for these talks about cables and connectors.
I hope these will help folk find info that I was looking for too :)

@@betaomega04 yes, these are simply just good for the money!
Would you happen to have an opportunity to compare their sonic performance with the authentic Furutech connectors?

Sorry but as a rule I'm not liking to stores selling fakes, I hope you understand this.
@@k4syx I went to the Furutech website and they have listed Aliexpress as the seller... just ordered a set of 8... what a great price too...
